I'd been so worried for a long time about the prospect of a cataract operation....but, in hindsight, any qualms were unfounded entirely. The complete process from pre-op to the operation day itself was so well organised, professional, considerate, respectful and caring. My post-op follow up will be mid-July...something I can actually look forward to! Heartfelt thanks to the whole team at Gateshead.

On 22 June I had cataracts removed from my left eye. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive before the surgery. I needn’t have been. The care and treatment I received before and during the procedure was first class. Everything was well explained. I can now look forward to having cataracts removed from my right eye without fear. Thank you to all of the team at SpaMedic Gateshead.

Everyone at the practice was very caring and attentive. I had two cataracts removed in five and a half weeks. Couldn't ask for better service

I was Well looked after from the moment I walked though the door. Everything was carefully explained as I progressed from room to room. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful . I was nervous ,but they soon put me at ease. I was able to speak to the surgeon before I went in for my surgery and able to ask any remaining questions that I had. The procedure went well and was completely painless. The outcome was even better than I hoped or expected. Thank you so much.

I had my first cataract removed in June, and my second in late August. The whole process was very professional, and I was guided every step of the way, the staff were very friendly and the difference was phenomenal. I wish I had been able to have it done sooner.

I attended SpaMedica, TeamValley for a cataract removal operation. I found the whole experience from start to finish as a very smooth experience. Staff were friendly and reassuring at all times, keeping me aware of what was happening next. I found the whole process to be better than I anticipated.

Had my cataract review done here and then had my first cataract procedure done. Excellent service, the staff are friendly pleasant and professional from the meet and greet to the surgeon. would not hesitate to recommend to anyone needing the surgery.10/10

This clinic is extremely well organised, staffed by helpful and cheerful people. My cataract operations were carried out very successfully with no problems at all. I was very nervous with the first one but the whole experience was made much easier by the caring and understanding staff. The operations themselves were totally painless. After the first one my eye was so much better that I was looking forward to getting the other one done as quickly as possible. I am very happy to recommend this clinic to anybody who has eye problems. They are great.

Excellent experience from start to finish... lovely welcome settleing my nerves..slick teamwork by all the staff... amazing outcome restoring colours and sights I thought had gone forever...clear verbal instructions and booklets dealing with aftercare
