I was very impressed with my visit to the clinic for my pre op assessment. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Clinic was busy but appointment was dealt with in good time. All my questions were answered and was very surprised to be booked in for surgery the following Sunday. I was very nervous on the morning of my surgery but was once again put at ease by the supportive and approachable staff. The surgery itself was painless and was over in minutes. From start to finish my appointment took under 2 hours. I am now waiting for my other eye to be operated on and have no worries at all about my next bout of surgery

Had cataracts removed from both eyes, the first in October 2022 and second in January 2023. From start to finish the staff were very helpful, supportive and very efficient, and both operations were pain free. Would really recommend this company to anyone who is thinking about this type of operation.

Very friendly efficient service. Everything clearly explained at consultation appointment and at all stages of the surgery. Staff very welcoming and put you at ease. Would definitely recommend.

I think anyone having cataract surgery for the first time will be apprehensive about the operation. I certainly was, even though I was very pleased to have my referral handled so quickly. Every step along the procedure, from being met at reception at the initial assessment to the final handover of medication after the operation was handled in the most professional and caring manner. I was treated with kindness and understanding throughout. Everyone I had contact with took time to communicate clearly with me and did not speak at high speed even though they had probably been in the situation many times previously. This was much appreciated. The whole environment is clean, pleasant and calm with an air of quiet confidence which certainly helps; even parking is stress free. I found the various booklets that explain what would happen during my visits and how I would be affected to be very helpful. They are clear to read, well written in plain English and I read them many times. All this does not happen by chance; the whole situation from the patient's point of view has been considered and planned accordingly. Thanks to everyone involved.

Although i initially felt nervous about the operation, the staff were very efficient and friendly and I felt at ease as soon as I walked through the door. Every stage of the process was clearly explained to me and I felt relaxed in the calming atmosphere. I will definitely return to have surgery on my other eye and would recommend Spamedica to anyone thinking of having eye surgery.

Went for my appointment on 20/01/23 at 1pm ,arrived early but was warmly greeted and asked if I would like a coffee ,the staff are very pleasant and the premises very clean & welcoming The later surgery was carried out bang on time with the minimum of fuss & I was out of the clinic by 1:30 pm,could not fault the service at all !

starting with my pre assessment at SpaMedica i arrived very nervous but was soon reassured with the care and attention i received from all the staff during my post opp. I have no worries now about having the second eye operated on .I have already recommended Spa Medica to several friends and family

I attended yesterday for cataract removal and from the time l entered the building l was treated with kindness and care from the person who greeted me ,to the really friendly receptionists through to the nurses , the surgeon who treated me with reassurance and professionalism and the aftercare team. I have to return for further surgery on my other eye but have no qualms of returning as l know l will receive first class care . Thank you so much to you all .
