I recently had my cataract surgery at SpaMedica Doncaster. I found this to be a very positive and professional service from start to finish. Although all the staff were brilliant, due to unavoidable delays on the day of my surgery I found the reception staff on duty that day particularly helpful and reassuring.

Just had my second cataract 'op' done and am very happy with the result again. Met some new members of the staff who were just as kind, caring and considerate as at my previous visit, the atmosphere there is reassuringly calm, I felt I was in safe hands. I had a problem with a 'glitch' in the automated appointment confirmation response as it sent me a text message with a different appointment at a very early time; this did cause us some stress as we would have had to change our transport arrangements but was all sorted out quickly after one phone call.

All the staff were very friendly and really knew their jobs. Everyone made me feel very welcome. All the people I have spoken to where I live who have been to the practice for treatment have all said how good it is.

I was very impressed with the caring staff, from the receptionists to the surgeons. Everything was explained to me each step of the way, the nurses always checked that I was comfortable and understood what was going to happen.

This was my second operation to have a cataract removed and again the whole procedure was wonderful. Every one in the practice was extremely friendly and knowledgeable putting everyone at ease. I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone needing cataract surgery.

All staff were very pleasant and helpful. This was my first cataract op. The booklet I was sent gave clear explanations of what to expect. The operation itself only took five minutes, I was comfortable and able to remain still without a problem while looking at the bright light. On the sixth day the cloudiness was completely gone and my long distant sight is now very good, though I cannot see clearly to read until I get new glasses. Looking forward to having the op on my other eye ASAP. Thank you all for your professionalism.
