There was some quick improvement in my symptoms and thought I could have been discharged sooner. Gained the impression they wanted to prolong the treatment.

Each session I have had a different physio who has contradicted what the last physio has said will help. The first physio I saw was great she listening to what my symptoms were and seemed to give me a plan that would be helpful. I then saw another physio who was quite arrogant and not interested in what my symptoms were and explained to him the pain was no better. Third time I saw another physio who yet again changed my treatment plan and still the pain hasn’t improved, he also gave me a number to call to pay for some foot insoles and the numbers ring out!! Really quite disappointed with the service.

I was treated for sciatica and the physiotherapist examined me thoroughly at each of my four appointments. They explained the exercises I had to do very well and checked my progress at each appointment which ended with my condition clearing up.

The physio was very professional and very helpful. The exercises helped lot to manage my knee pain. I am now pain free.

This was a fantastic experience with a very knowledgeable practitioner, who knew exactly the problem and gave me complete confidence in her. She was polite but firm and very encouraging. Brilliant work.

I was given a series of simple exercises to use each day to help with my knee issue. I found the exercises very easy to do and did actually do them regularly as requested. The exercises were added to at each session with the Physio explaining and showing me the correct method every time. I have found them extremely helpful and now seem to be feeling a good deal of benefit by religiously sticking to this regime. I also in addition went swimming 3/4 times weekly as an extra to strengthen my legs. This also I feel has been beneficial. The Physio who helped me seemed very knowledgeable, considerate and listened carefully when we discussed my problem. He explained everything and demonstrated all his methods. I felt very comfortable with him and his methods. The note taking was very thorough and the typist did an excellent job also. My general opinion is that I have been glad that I attended this physiotherapy and I have definitely improved quite significantly. I would definitely recommend this kind of help and I am very pleased to be able to say this in the hope that others will use this very excellent service.

Was assessed by physio she listened to my issues was given a set of exercises to do at home I began to feel better once starting the exercises Good all round experience

It was great for my wellbeing but not enough times a month, it needs to be once or twice a week to have any benefit to the person doing the exercises otherwise it is not doing what is supposed to do.

I have had treatment in Preston for about 4 months for very painful trigger thumb. Followed the exercise plan carefully and able to be discharged today. My Physio was professional, communicative and so understanding. Reassured to make contact if future problems. What a superb easy to access NHS service. Thank you. Heather Ainsworth
