    I was recently a patient on 8b after suffering a small stroke and would like to say all the staff on that ward where amazing looked after me and reassured me at a very scary time in my life and especially the stroke nurse who I first saw in a nd e she helped me accept what was happening to me they are all a credit to ydh from the doctors nurses down to the domestic staff thank u so much

    Visited the new NHS eye centre in the Quidam Yeovil for glaucoma check.Bleed picked up on retina, immediately referred to Dr who phoned me at home the next day to discuss treatment options.Contacted by his sec a couple of days later and booked in for treatment. This is first class service, wouldn’t have got better if I’d gone privately. And yes the centre and staff a credit to the NHS.Thankyou everyone.

    Arrived at 9.30 on Boxing Day with my 84 year old mum. She had a very nasty, deep gash on her shin. The young gentleman on reception was very polite and informative. By 10.40 my mum had been seen and was just waiting for a prescription to be filled. My mum said the person who she saw was very kind. Thank you

    We’ve had 2 A&E experiences at Yeovil in the last 6 months. Both times the staff we encountered (receptionist, triage nurse, nurse practitioner) were friendly, genuinely caring, and very efficient in their roles. Don’t have a fault to make. Thank you all so much.

    I was admitted for emergency surgery for a perforated appendicitis. After surgery my codition deteriorated and I was admitted to icu. The team of doctors and nurses in icu were amazing and the attention and care I received was simply outstanding. Even when on a ward, in my case 6a and 7a the staff were brilliant, so caring, attentive and professional. Without doubt my experience from start to finish was of the highest standard.

    I had stomach pains and blacked out when heart stopped. I must have been attended by over 20 staff from nurses, doctors, porters, kitchens staff etc I went from level 8 to 7 and finished on 6 over the course of 6 days as my condition improved. Every single person was brilliant, positive, knowledgable, helpful and caring The food was great and I couldnt have been treated any better. I really appreciated how I was kept informed of my condition, how all my questions were answeed and the exceptional professional level of care I received. I cant thank the staff enough they are all deserving of the highest respect and have me sincere gratitude. They should all be extremely proud of themselves.

    A&e, Eau and ward 9a cannot be praised enough. Everyone cheerful, caring and helpful. Even found specialist equipment I required very efficiently. Food excellent when I felt able to eat. Nothing was too much bother.
