  1. Review titled They working like a watch

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Nadire Asllani - Posted on 02 March 2023

I want to thank this hospital for what they have done for me since my first day I arrived here with a very bad dislocated hip. I thank all doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, cleaners for great care they have given to me. One smile doesn’t cost anything, but it makes you feel safe and important to them. The staff is smiling, they tried to make you feel safe. Very well organised like a fútbol team. The doctor explained to me what he would do with my hip. I didn’t know that this hospital existed before I dislocated my hip. I’m very impressed with the discipline, correction and rules. I have been in other hospitals as well, but it looks to me totally different. I’m not mentioning names, because of the rules, but my good words have no end. We often are used to read bad reviews about hospitals, but we should appreciate and encourage the staff of hospitals when they are working very hard to save lives. When we are in great pain and in hopeless situation, then we are appreciating their sacrifice. So, when to leave a review, we have to see how hard they are working, what they are doing for us, and then we have to think what to say. So, all I want to say is a great thank you and congratulations to their great job that they are doing to save lives! My rate review is five stars.

  2. Review titled Maternity triage

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 February 2023

I went to maternity triage at 27 weeks pregnant, having experienced a sudden rush of fluid, that continued over a 24 hour period, and with the fear it could be amniotic. I waited for hours in the waiting room, hoping to be seen in the triage unit. As time went on, and patients came and went, I began to feel I was worrying unnecessarily and wasting their time. So after three hours, I asked for my notes back, and had to sign a waiver to say I was leaving of my own accord. The doctor or nurse who came out with my file didn't acknowledge me - just handed the file to the receptionist as I stood there and said to him: 'Get her to put a copy of the waiver in her notes.' And walked off. The whole experience was pretty dehumanising. I'm no clearer to understanding whether there was anything wrong, but think there mustn't have been.

  3. Review titled Terrible Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 February 2023

Needed to see minor injuries unit due to worsening pain in arm 3 weeks after fall. The only time somebody even looked at my arm was to check blood pressure. All seemed rushed. Got a telephone appointment with a GP (which I am more than capable of doing myself) and they cannot refer me for a scan directly as my GP is in the borough of Newham so have to contact my own GP. Feels like a wasted journey and that it would have been easier if I could see someone face to face. I do not like going to hospitals for no reason and this is my first time attending minor injuries and I am very disappointed in the service.

  4. Review titled Very caring!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Patricia Ainsworth - Posted on 24 February 2023

Not for first time spent some time in Plane Tree Centre Yesterday 22.2.23. Always a pleasant experience, but one I have never written about. Such caring kind staff who go out of their way, to reassure, and explain proceedures to you. They work so hard, and definitely need an increase in their salaries. I left feeling my day had gone well, and another visit would be a pleasure.

  6. Review titled Thorough and compassionate care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sam Hewitt - Posted on 02 January 2023

Attended A&E on New Years Day following a horse riding accident. Received an exceptionally high level of care - doctors were thorough, professional and caring. I was seen quickly and every precaution was taken. I was made to feel at ease and couldn’t fault the staff - the department was busy and they were clearly under pressure. However, all of the staff I came into contact with (doctors, nurses, CT scanning staff, xray) were fantastic.

  8. Review titled Responsive and compassionate care for my toddler

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Amy Williams - Posted on 27 January 2023

I had to take my toddler to A&E on Thursday 19th January because of breathing difficulties. The staff at Whipps Cross children's A&E were very caring and supportive, I felt like we were well looked after by them, particularly the nurse who was on shift that evening/ night.

  9. Review titled Everything is a waiting game

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 January 2023

This concerns the Antenatal Clinic Whipps- They know when their busy days are - scans, bloods, clinics running etc. Being preg & having to queue 10 mins or more just to check in is ridiculous. Then they’ll say your late for your appt! One (very slow) person at the desk serving a queue that is out the door. Need to have more than one at desk when you have clinics running. Bloods also slow also! I took ticket at 3.10 and seen at 4pm when there were only 5 people ahead. Asked phlebotomist who confirmed she was only seeing ticketed patients at that time so no one else in between.... how does it make sense to see 5 patients in nearly an hour?! Esp when each patient was only inside for not even 5 mins.

  10. Review titled Atrocious service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 December 2022

Attend A&E 2115, did, was not called to the front desk for 30mins, then received a ticket , waited over 1hour to be seen , triage saw me 0059 , did not see a doctor until 4am. I asked a number of individuals how long the wait was and constantly being told each time 4-6hours every time I asked at various times, I asked where I was in the queue and no one could give me a straight answer , after 7 hours I left with suspected fracture arm. I will endure the pain and organise treatment at a private facility
