Review titled Great ongoing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Martin Ambler - Posted on 15 November 2023
I am always very impressed by my experience visiting for an appointment. The admin staff, nurse and consultant are unfailingly courteous, friendly and helpful. It never feels hurried and I feel I can ask any questions to understand my condition and ongoing treatment. In addition today, I had blood samples taken in the day care ward. What a lovely lady doing the procedure. Friendly and reassuring and also skilled in taking the samples painlessly and efficiently. The care taken to make sure I was OK afterwards, as it was quite a lot taken, was first class and good humoured. Thank you to everyone I met today.

Review titled Good experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attending AnE with my 92 year old father, Warwick was recommended by Rugby St Cross for the A n E dept, we were triaged within 15/20 mins , my previous experience of another hospital had been for an extremely extended wait, the doctor we saw was brilliant , all the staff. Were helpful and kind - the porter was great, the atmosphere and interaction between the staff was nice to experience ,I would recommend the A nE department and would attend again even if it adds 10-15mins to the journey - thank you to all the staff.

Review titled Excellent Care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Liz Bardell-Rippin - Posted on 09 November 2023
I attended the Day Surgery Centre and, as ever received the most excellent care from start to finish. From my arrival, in reception to my discharge, after my operation, I was treated with the most utmost dignity, humour and care. In such a fraught world it is refreshing and comforting to know that the NHS staff at Warwick continue to be a fine example of the very best of humanity. Thank you.

Review titled Thanks for a wonderful service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Margaret Pickford - Posted on 23 October 2023
After suffering an internal bleed, and a severe chest infection, I was taken to Warwick Hospital by ambulance and into A & E where I was treated to the most thorough investigation then admitted into Oaken ward. I was looked after and treated so well that I feel that I must make this effort to thank everyone who was so kind and helpful to me. I arrived at A & E early on Thursday morning 19th October and seen almost immediately and was discharged on Friday evening 20th October. Thank you to everyone concerned who helped me.Margaret Pickford.

My 92 year old dad had a bad fall and came in by ambulance. No queues, from the minute he arrived he was treated with such love and care, so professional - can’t praise them enough. Then he was admitted with a broken vertibrae and the same on the ward, caring lovely staff thank you so much

Review titled Top-class care
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Mike T - Posted on 23 October 2023
I was referred to Ambulatory Emergency Care Department by my GP after I experienced breathing difficulties. I spent most of the day in the department and wish to record my appreciation of the excellent care and treatment I received. From reception to discharge, and undergoing tests including ECGs, blood, X-rays and individual examination, the level of service provided was very good throughout. I left with a clear idea of diagnosis, appropriate medication and a referral to your cardiology department. I am grateful to all the staff involved.

I've been here for 3 days, from my entry at A&E to my stay on Hatton Ward, I've felt welcomed and cared for. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is happy and caring and polite. Cleanliness is fab.

Review titled Endoscopy Care and Professionalism
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Graham H - Posted on 26 October 2023
I attended the Endoscopy Unit for both Endoscopy and Colonoscopy examination. The staff throughout these examinations showed friendly care and professionalism of the highest standard. As the examinations were carried out I was kept informed at all times as to progress and procedures carried out. They made sure I was comfortable at all times and offered assurance that all was going well. On completion of the examination they explained how everything went. Following the examination I was taken to the recovery area where again I received exceptional care and attention until I was discharged. My thanks to all the team involved in the process, they should be very proud of the service they provided. Thank you.

Review titled Hospital entrance
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 October 2023
For several years now the patient entrance I believe on millers road is terrible! I had to walk through 6 members of staff smoking in uniform! Not ideal at anytime, but particularly unpleasant when pregnant. I feel sorry for the patients who are then treated by staff wearing smoky uniforms! I know the policy at the hospital prevented staff wearing uniforms to and from work for hygiene prevention however surely taking time out to smoke is also hygiene issue!
