for the second time i have been cancelled, this time at 07:47 04/03/2034, as a voice mail. I was at work, finished work at 08:00 and went to the hospital, after sitting for an hour and not being spoken to , I asked and found out I was cancelled again,Since September I have had 4 pre ops for treatment on my hip and now will need another one, I feel I am being ignored and treated extremely badly by this hospitaland will be consulting with a higher authority

  4. Review titled Kindness and reassurance

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Margaret Williams - Posted on 10 March 2024

I visited A and E yesterday and also had a CT scan. All the doctors and nurses were kind from the outset and I was treated promptly and with kindness and respect at all times. I was anxious and in quite a lot of pain and the A and E Registrar was so kind and reassuring. He explained everything very carefully to me and carried out any procedures with such consideration. I would be grateful if you could please pass on my thanks to all the team. I cannot praise them enough.

  5. Review titled Mislaid records

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 March 2024

I attended at the request of my GP. After a wait in reception of two hours I saw the doctor who ordered blood tests and X-ray. I then had to sit in a small waiting room so my husband couldn’t join me. After three hours I still hadn’t had a blood test. I asked at reception and my paperwork had been mislaid. I had that done then x ray. More waiting for results, and a wait for a cat scan. Another wait of one hour thirty minutes for results of cat scan. All in all 11 hours in A and E. mine were not the only Notes which were mislaid as I heard conversations such as “where are the patients notes” and “We’ve lost his notes”. Having work for the NHS for 13 years I appreciate how pushed staff can be but surely losing notes holds things up?

I attended A&E last evening around 8.30 pm and despite a lengthy wait was treated for a dog bite to my hand in a very professional and polite manner in the minor injuries clinic. The nurse was very kind and treated my injury with the greatest care. Thank you for your excellent service and please pass on my grateful thanks.

  10. Review titled Disappointing care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 February 2024

A long standing Tunbridge Wells resident commented to me recently that patients in a dementia ward had their food placed in front of them but were not fed. She was told that the foreign nurses come from cultures where the relatives do the feeding of the patient. I wonder where is the lead nurse, who naturally should explain our English culture and expect her staff to feed patients if necessary. I daresay many such patients have no relatives who could do this. I am an ex-nurse and I am shocked. Whatever next!
