Today , 23rd September, I took my father for his pre op assessment (for cataract surgery) at 10a.m. . The lady who undertook this assessment was very efficient , caring and fully answered our questions . She allayed the worries he had about the procedure by her clear description of what would happen . Her very friendly , smiling and empathetic manner contributed significantly to him being able to give all the complex information required . I’m sorry that we are not allowed to give her name here as she deserves acknowledgment. Thank you .

Thankyou to the Stroke Unit, The Consultants, Registrar(s), doctors, nurses, Physio, O/T, Health Care, Cleaners, Secretaries and any others I have missed in the Unit, what a first class service and very professional approach. As a family we will be eternally grateful.

I have been admitted to this hospital scunthorpe. I am on ward 17, 99% I can not fault the nursing staff. But on two occasions my IV has been left with air in tube and it was I who pointed it out. Hygiene procedure upon IV wasn't followed. As we have recently been through pandemic, I would of thought it would of been second nature. It was both times a fully qualified nurse. Otherwise I do not have a complaint.

I was phoned to attend the given appointment earlier in the day- Sunday, as two people had not turned up! I was having a lip biopsy. I cannot thank the surgeon and two nurse enough, kind, caring, informative and very efficient! I was home within the hour and resting after being given sound advice to rest! I’m very very grateful for the NHS !!!!
