Review titled Uncaring staff

Arrived by appointment. Told by the doctor that she was surprised to see us as there was a referral to ENT and that the appointment in clinic was pointless! My daughter was not glanced at, spoken to or examined. I was asked a lot of questions, doctor gave me some things to try at home but clearly hadn’t listened to me as these were things I had already just said were being done at home. The manner was abrupt and almost insolent. Had to make a twenty mile round trip for the appointment. No medical progress was made. I feel bad for my daughter, she trusts me to get help for her. My daughter could not have been ignored further. I have mental health problems that affect memory and just simply remembering and getting to the appointment is hard for me. My daughter is just a little girl that needs some care. It shouldn’t have been unpleasant, a smile and greeting or a little chat would have gone a long way. Even if the appointment was in the end pointless.
