  2. Review titled Sensitive and friendly treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mrs Lines - Posted on 21 October 2022

My son is on the autistic spectrum and was really anxious about his appointment and on the point of wanting to give up on his braces. The orthodontist and nurse treated him with kindness and sensitivity, giving him the reassurance he needed whilst being honest about the length of time treatment would take. Their friendliness helped put him at ease. He arrived feeling anxious but left feeling positive. Thank you, you made such a difference.

  3. Review titled Colonoscopy - superb experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Justin OR - Posted on 03 October 2022

Wanted to compliment the team in the Endoscopy unit who carried out my colonoscopy in early October. First time I've had the procedure and was approaching the appointment with a lot of trepidation. But from the second I walked into Reception to sign in to being discharged, the process was incredibly well handled and highly efficient. I was at ease throughout the process and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Could not have been a better experience in the circumstances. I would give the department 10/10 in service terms. Thank you.

  4. Review titled Bad practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 November 2022

I was waiting for my appointment for more than 5 months in total, arranged and payed for the childcare, took a day off months in advance, only to learn that the appointment was cancelled on the same day. To add to this disappointment, prior to this appointment, more then 5 months ago, I had supposed to have my 1st appointment with this department, which happened to be over the phone ( I only learned that it was over the phone after arriving to the hospital and driving half an hour with a newborn!)

  5. Review titled Endoscopy Unit very efficiently run

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 November 2022

I attended the Endoscopy Unit for an 0800 hrs Colonoscopy appointment on Saturday 29 October 2022. I found the Unit to be very efficiently run, the staff very organised and pleasant, the procedure smooth, and the post-procedure explanations very helpful. Moreover, the whole appointment lasted only around a couple of hours. My doctor, moreover, received an online report of the results by first thing on the following Monday morning. So, all in all, a very positive experience.

  6. Review titled Children’s A&E department.

    by Jentg37 - Posted on 12 October 2022

Just want to commend the wonderful nurses yesterday in the children’s A&E department. And especially to the lady who gave my daughter a little yellow bear to cheer her up. What a wonderful job you all do and you made being in A&E for 7 hours a much nicer experience.
