I was completely blown away by the service I received in the minor injuries unit at QVH - words cannot do it justice. The nurses that dealt with me were kind, thorough and a complete asset to the NHS. I was then dealt with in plastic surgery and once again I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received. I have been in a fair few other hospitals and none of them compared to the service I received at QVH. Hopefully I don't but if I ever need similar care in the future this is where I will be going.

From the moment we arrived in the outpatients department and were greeted by the receptionist to when we left with my father being collected by the hospital transport team we were treated with the utmost care and respect by all members of the team, the nurses and the consultant. This was the NHS at its absolute best , thank you.

My daughter born with syndactyly in both hands and surgeon did an amazing surgery. I was really scared for my one years old baby to do this surgery but I have to say that all staff involved were amazing. Cannot thank you enough for what they have done for my baby and for me. We will continue to have follow-up appointments with surgeon. Thank you.

I had stent/cataract surgery recently at QVH. Although I was apprehensive about the actual procedure, I was more concerned about having a cover over my face as I am very claustrophobic. I need not have worried - the theatre staff were so kind and reassuring and raised the cover slightly so I didn't feel too enclosed. It was nice and bright and airy in the theatre and music was playing on the radio. The theatre staff checked on me several times to make sure I was ok and the surgeon explained what she was doing throughout the op. Before I knew it the op was over - no pain, no claustrophobia and nothing to worry about whatsoever. Thank you so much to all the team - from the admission staff right through to the discharge staff. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Everyone was so professional throughout and also so kind and caring. I certainly won't be worried when I return for cataract surgery on my other eye.

I cannot recommend highly enough, all of the staff from admin, check in, porters, HCA's, nurses, ward staff and of course the consultants are amazing, cheerful, kind, compassionate and an exceptional reflection of the NHS at its very best. My initial consultations through to surgery and follow up care has been outstanding. A truly wonderful hospital experience, thank you all so very much!

This hospital is simply incredible. I can't sing its praises highly enough. Both the staff and the medical care are fabulous. It is world class in so many areas and deserves so much its wonderful reputation. My wife has been a patient for 6 and a half years and had extensive treatment there. Without exception everyone has been absolutely wonderful, even when the news has been tough. It is impossible to find fault with such a place and my thanks to absolutely everyone, throughout the hospital, medical, administrative and behind the scenes. It is a real privelige to have such a hospital in the area and equally to be a patient there. This hospital simply shows how good an organisation - any organisation - can be. It sets an incredible standard and achieves that standard, day in day out, and is a role model for others to aim at. There are too many people to list in terms of praise - so can I simply say "thank you" to you all for doing such a phenmenal job.

Visited the Minor Injuries Unit this evening after failing to get a GP appointment today and a lengthy wait for a call back from 111. Very short wait time, less than 5 minutes, friendly receptionist and very efficient nurse. Brilliant service as always in this Minot Injuries Unit.

On the 11/01/2023 at 13:00hrs. I visited the minor injury unit for assistance and reassurance of the consequence of a possible injury to my left foot after returning to this country from a skiing holiday. I was greeted immediately by a warm and friendly clinician who with little delay analysed my injury and addressed my concerns as to my foot injury. He went one step above by taking time to complete a full report on the status of my foot even though he was not obliged to fulfil such a task. This assisted me greatly in my negotiations with my insurance company. I was immensely impressed by his courtesy, expertise and professionalism which is reflected by the minor injury unit as a whole. I would be happy to repeat these commendations to anyone whose is prepared to listen.

I arrived on an urgent referral in the early morning in January from the hand trauma team. By mid morning my extensive injuries had been assessed and surgery was booked for 2pm the same day. Surgery took place at just after 2pm, the entire team (surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses etc) were incredible, organised and caring I was picked up by my wife at 8.30pm on the same day and came home I do not have the words to thank everybody for their incredible treatment, all I can say is the treatment I received was mind blowing in terms of professionalism , speed and compassion Thank you all x
