Was in for a coronary angiogram to investigate chest pain and shortness of breath. Very well looked after for the fours hours I was at the clinic. All the staff were very friendly and professional.

  3. Review titled Positive labour and delivery experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Emily H - Posted on 22 December 2022

I had a wonderful experience in the labour ward at Queens Hospital, the care was truly personal and I had 2 midwives with me at all times monitoring my progress. They were also so attentive to my birth wishes and looked after my birthing partner wonderfully too. This hospital is far away from where I live so wasn’t my initial choice but after giving birth here I would definitely travel out of my way to be there again! The 2 ladies who looked after me during my birth are truly amazing!!!

  4. Review titled Excellent care received

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Tony Worton - Posted on 18 October 2022

I was taken to Queens Burton by ambulance yesterday afternoon and I wanted to express my thanks to all involved in helping me. From the time I entered the resuss ward to the time I left at 11pm I was looked after wonderfully. I was kept informed at all stages and monitored constantly. The relevant tests were carried out as quickly as possible and the resident doctor who saw me explained everything very clearly and made sure as far as possible things were ok before I was allowed home. Many thanks to all involved, my personal dealings with Queens has always been excellent.

  5. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Paul McDonnell - Posted on 12 October 2022

I attended the Eye Clinic for Cataract Surgery January 2022 While having my first test done, the Consultant was looking at a lump by my left Eye. I explained that my GP was going to scrape it off. He said it should not be scraped off, and asked me if I would like it removed, I was only too pleased to say yes, but even more pleased when he said I will do it now. All went well, but four weeks later I was phoned and told the Consultant wanted to see me the next day. Skin Cancer was confirmed by the biopsy, so I was booked in for another operation. This time it meant the Consultant had to go deeper and a bigger cut. I was so happy when I finally got the results to say, I was now clear of the Cancer. The Consultant was excellent, and so were all the Team. The same Consultant went on to perform the Cataract surgery, and I finally got my second Catarrh surgery done in September 2022. Going on my experience, I would highly recommend the Eye Clinic to anyone. Only have very high praise for the Consultant, and all the Team. They are all very reassuring, kind, and very polite. I do not think I could get any better treatment anywhere. So if you are waiting to have Cataract Surgery and Burton Eye Clinic, be assured you will be in very good hands. I would just like to say a Very Big Thank You, to the Consultant, and all the Team at the Eye Clinic. My Treatment was First Class

  6. Review titled Concerning

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 September 2022

I had to take my poorly son of four years of age in with breathing problems and waited over 5 hours to be seen. Adults were seen over poorly young children and babies which is wrong and there was hardly any staff. No bedding or blankets. My son had to lie on a rubber bed. When through to see the doctor and nurses the staff are good and some staff are so lovely but the system of the place is terrible. My son finally got help at 6am which was medication within minutes which helped his breathing but he had to struggle for hours beforehand. Why? Didn’t expect to be in burton A&E for 9 hours.
