  1. Review titled The greatest of care and reassurance

    by scoreboardmz87 - Posted on 22 November 2022

Attended for my appointment following another abnormal cell detection. Obviously nervous but the staff were incredible, the procedure was completed with the greatest of care and reassurance. The nurses were full of compassion and I couldn’t thank them enough for taking care of me.

Dear scoreboardmz87 Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback for us following your recent visit to the gynaecology outpatients department at Pilgrim Hospital. We totally understand how worrying it can be to attend our colposcopy clinics. As a team we all try and deliver the very best patient experience we can and it was lovely to hear you were given the care and support during your appointment. Kind regards Tanya Wilson

Was booked in 3 times by hospital staff sat waiting to be seen for about 30 minutes watching 8 members of staff walking and playing around at one stage with a broken chair on the 4th time of being booked in.then told i was at the wrong hospital, my fault entirely but what we witnessed was unbelievable, told them to cancel the appointment and walked out and will sort the minor procedure myself

  3. Review titled Great care & support

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Following surgery on my right hand I was referred to the occupational health department where I have received excellent ongoing support from the physiotherapist. The advice given, the exercises demonstrated, and care shown has given me use once again of my right hand. I am so grateful and you are a credit to The Pilgrim Hospital and the NHS. Thank you so very much.

  4. Review titled Great

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Thanks to all at the practice- I damaged tendons in two of my fingers whilst playing football over the summer. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially my physical therapist whom rescheduled for me when I couldn’t attend an appointment. As a sportsman and a musician, it was crucial that we got my rehabilitation right, and I am more than satisfied with the care I received. Thank you.

I was on the Day care ward treated for a badly infected finger requiring surgery All staff on the ward were very caring and helpful I observed how hard everyone worked short staffed and rushed of their feet trying their best to deal with every patient needs They all are amazing and i for one would not want to do their job working long hours understaffed and taking the flack off patients that felt they were not getting the care I understand that but the staff were doing their best under pressure I would like to say a big thank you from myself to all on Day care

  6. Review titled My experience on IAC

    by aquilats46 - Posted on 09 November 2022

Generally the experience was pretty good, staff were friendly and professional and they tried their best to make me as comfortable as possible. The negative aspect was lack of communication between teams. When my wife visited me, I had been told I could go home, even though equipment needs at home were not in place. Staff in the Frailty team sorted the equipment for the following day. When my wife came to collect me, the ward staff were not aware of my discharge. My discharge went ahead but I feel communication was a let down

  8. Review titled Uninterested rude doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

Seeing other patients go into treatment rooms with good doctors I was hopeful… I had the one bad doctor. Pregnant with twins and he didn’t want to know, didn’t let me speak and argued everything. Refused to send me to maternity or be seen by anyone else. I went to a different hospital and thank god I did! Fortunately had healthy twins no thanks to this hospital! I’m not allowed to name the doctor or describe him on here, or the site will say I’m discriminating.

  10. Review titled Treated with dignity throughout

    by Nibbler58 - Posted on 27 October 2022

Went to Ultrasound for a scan; then to Ward 1B, Womens Health. Both departments had excellent staff; very informative, kind and patient. I was very nervous, but the helpful staff put me totally at ease. Seen on time. Treated with dignity throughout.
