  1. Review titled Holiday admission

    by bracegj88 - Posted on 31 August 2023

I brought my young son into A&E as he was unwell while we were on holiday. He was seen by the triage nurse with in ten minutes of walking into the hospital and sent straight to resus. The staff in A&E were incredible. They ensured he received prompt treatment. He was then taken to Acorn ward, this is where he stayed for three nights. Thank you to all of the staff. They were professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable. We received excellent care from all the doctors and nurses.

  2. Review titled Massive thanks!

by Huw - Posted on 06 September 2023

Admitted needing emergency surgery. It was apparent that the relevant teams were flat out, short staffed and working additional hours. I was still looked after properly, politely and efficiently. I spent a few days in the hospital following surgery and have nothing but respect for the dedicated staff who looked after me, 'just doing their job'. I couldn't do it for an hour! huge thanks to all of you, the NHS is the best thing about this country.

  3. Review titled Audiology for my Son

by Annimouse - Posted on 22 September 2023

My son saw a lovely audiologist who was fantastic with him. He has additional needs and she made every test fun and engaging, so much so that he didn't want to leave! Thanks Musgrove. Always our hospital of choice if we have one.

  4. Review titled Real empathy

    by sigmakh66 - Posted on 18 August 2023

My daughter came in with an abscess feeling very unwell. They looked after her tenderly and with real empathy. My daughter is a teenager, and they treated her like an adult but explained everything calmly and clearly. A huge thank you and they are a real asset to Musgrove Hospital

  6. Review titled Dangerous environment

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 August 2023

Poor communication between teams, lack of personal care offered. No nutrition and Hydration support. Unprofessional comments made to excuse failed care for example "skeleton staffing levels on weekends" resulting in preventable discomfort and pain due to actions in place not being addressed and completed.

  7. Review titled Staff care

    by Tripletrouble3 - Posted on 27 July 2023

The staff were really helpful, very kind and my son thought all the staff were very funny. All the staff made him feel comfortable and at ease. We were here for a long time and from A & E to PAU all staff were happy and put us at ease.

  8. Review titled Excellent Care

by Susan Brindle - Posted on 11 July 2023

I would just like to thank the staff at Musgrove Park Hospital for the care and efficiency they showed to my husband when he came in with a dangerously low blood pressure. He has dementia, and was treated with with compassion and patience, and was given a very thorough assessment with lots of advice for me on ongoing care. Thank you.

  9. Review titled We felt safe and looked after

    by tucanamc76 - Posted on 21 July 2023

My son was admitted to Oak ward for the day of his surgery and his recovery post op. We spent about 12 hours there before being discharged home. The nurses he had were both excellent, patient, kind and helpful. We were both well looked after, my son as a patient and me as a worried parent. Communication wasn’t perfect, but overall we felt safe and looked after.
