Helpful empathetic staff. Everyone worked hard to ensure care was given as quickly as possible. Care given was thorough with good communication and advice. All in all bearing in mind circumstances an excellent efficient service. All care givers should be praised and made to feel proud in a job well done. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter...

Colonoscopies can be quite a stressful thought, more so as my partner died a few months ago making hospital visits very daunting, but the whole team Receptionists, Nurses and the Consultant were so caring. I felt safe and protected. Our NHS is incredible the compassion, sometimes under very difficult situations is extraordinary. Dedicated people who want to help others. Thank you

I was referred to the Rapid Access Breast Surgery Clinic on an urgent two week notice. Upon knowing that I was going to travel out of country, the staff managed to arrange an appointment, before I left the country. My examination, mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy took a total of 3-4 hours, but was done in an excellent manner and dealt with me very professionally, yet in a caring and empathetic manner. What really moved me and motivated me to write this review is the fact that the staff was considerate to share the normal biopsy results with me, as soon as possible, and before the Christmas and New Year break, which really touched me. They ensured that I am not kept waiting in anticipation and did everything in their power to give me peace of mind before the break. Thank you very much for this. Much appreciated.

Today at 8.15am I found all in the department to be polite and helpful. After my visit to the area, I went to the Rvs cafe. Where the staff are also pleasant, and helpful. A happy Christmas, to all.

From the moment we arrived in A and E on Christmas Eve, the quality of care and medical attention my husband received was outstanding. He was triaged promptly and we were both kept fully informed on the test results and developments in his condition. He was subsequently admitted for five days, where he received high quality care throughout his stay. The dedication of all the doctors, nurses and health professionals demonstrated high levels of professional commitment. Thank you so much for all you do.

I have been to a and e a few times with chest pain and the staff are so friendly and caring and helpfull it really helps the toilets could do with abit more attention when alot of people are using them but im sure you can sort that out

I would like to thank the team at A&E for being so kind, I’ve unfortunately visited a few times with mental health and after being attacked. The kindness I’ve received is something I haven’t experienced in a long time and I want to make it known, the team at Macclesfield are incredible and have given me motivation to get better. Thank you all so much for taking the time - although you’re all so overwhelmed. I am so grateful, and your efforts have made so much difference to my journey. Thank you.

Review titled Fantastic care for our disabled daughter

Thanks to all staff involved in the care of our severely disabled daughter today during her admission for an endoscopy/scans & dental treatment. We could not have asked for more. She was treated with great respect and nothing was too much trouble. Parents and care staff were allowed to be present to support her when having the GA administered, which helped to keep her calm and reassured. Hospital staff communicated everything with us fully so we knew exactly what was happening. We are extremely grateful for the care and compassion shown. What a great example of our incredible NHS. Thank you.
