    I came by ambulance to A & E at 3 am. waited for 4 hours. taken blood test. they asked me to go home. no checks with doctor. No ecg taken. after I came home doctor was trying to call me after 5 hours. I was suffering from high blood pressure. very poor service. good job I had Bupa cover. avoid this hospital.

    I had just been in a car accident, luckily my arm took the brunt of it. I was extremely shaken up and anxious. On arrival I see a 2 hour wait? I sign in and was surprised at how rude the staff were! They didn’t seem to care I was covered in blood. I saw a poor women with a head injury bleeding from her head and another women calling out for help. Did the staff care? Of course they didn’t. I was terrified at how disgustingly rude and careless the staff were! All I could see was them stood around laughing and chatting away rather than helping anyone! After numerous times going up to the receptionist asking to get my arm checked due to it having mud, grit and glass in it they finally took my arm for a scan! The ladies at the scan were so lovely and was the only positive experience for me, they kept me calm, spoke to me and made me laugh :) however once doing so there was no sign of getting my arm sorted or even cleaned which I thought was disgusting that they’re fine with this I eventually gave up after an 8 hour wait! Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother coming here

    I am attempting to book a referral appointment system tell me no appointments and I will get a phone call by 7/9 - no call so i call the number shown its a dead line - how am i to get an appointment? not even a voice mail or email address - totally unhappy

    I had a head scan, blood test and ecg. Was only there 2 and 3/4 hours, staff were very pleasant and friendly, i was very impressed with the service, well done lister ......

    Went to A&E advised by GP. I also work for the NHS but it seems like our health is not of much importance. It would be beneficial if staff could look better after staff so sick leave isn’t in a high. Health benefits should be thought through and at least be kind to one another. The nurse that took over @ 8pm showed no sympathy whatsoever. During hand over there was much banter in the “Hello nurse” area which in my view should be more professional and be a zone with more privacy for patients. Moreover there were 2 patients with bleeding wounds on the head which in my opinion should be dealt with immediately in a separate designated room and not just leave the patients there waiting for ages. Something needs to change.
