  1. Review titled Amazing staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I just wanted to say thank you - I came in for uterine embolisation and stayed for 2 nights. Every little thing was explained to me and everyone from the porter to the cleaner, nurses and consultants were so polite, caring and kind. Thank you all so much.

  2. Review titled Efficient, compassionate and professional

Rated 5 stars out of 5

We came to Urgent Treatment Care via A&E on a Saturday afternoon. Both departments well run, with professional and compassionate staff. From nurses to Drs -even the security staff-we encountered highly professional care which meant a painful and worrying infection was treated with 2hrs from arrival. We cannot thank the staff at Kingston Hospital enough for this most excellent care.

  4. Review titled The staff were caring and supportive

    by Beangirl5 - Posted on 30 June 2023

There is so much in the press at the moment about how awful an out patient hysteroscopy is- and how it is so very painful, that you should have anaesthetic, I wanted to share my story. I was offered a choice of general anaesthetic or 2 paracetamol and the procedure being carried out in out patients. This is what I opted for, you may asked why? Well, it was a really simple choice, as I suffered a birth trauma in theatre and have PTSD as a result. I was obviously anxious about the procedure, but the staff were caring and supportive, I did not disclosed my past history as I feared that they would not continue, and theatre was not an option. There was a little bit of pain as the scope was inserted through the cervix, but this only lasted a few seconds. It was much an usual sensation of the fluid going in and out, but not discomfort. The whole thing was over in less than 10 minutes. Yes, I had some cramp type pain afterwards, but was able to go home and relax.
