Review titled Amazing
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Charlie M - Posted on 21 January 2023
Your staff are amazing, I can't thank them enough. I have autism and your staff did small acts of kindness to support me that made a huge difference to me such as making sure where possible, that I had a quiet place to wait so that I wasn't overwhelmed sensory wise. Organised getting me to and from the hospital as I have mobility issues. All this whilst striking for the very basics of being paid fairly. The NHS and it's staff are incredible and they do all this in the face of a government that does not respect them. Thank you so much for taking such incredible care of me.

From the lady at the reception desk, the streaming team through to the staff in majors, the level of service could not be faulted. The consultant was excellent, supported by exceptional nursing staff. Thank you.

Cannot thank all the nurses and staff at the Endoscopy department for the treatment received during a Gastroscopy. Made to feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. You could not get better treatment than that given at Kingsmill Hospital.

AttendedA&E Dec 12 2022 with severe back pain, I was promptly seen, blood tested and given an X-ray, I was then told I had a compression fracture of the spine, obviously concerned I was then told to Google it. And now terrified I was given a follow up appointment for3days later during which I was told Kingsmill can’t help and advised to attend QMC A&E

Had to use the a&e service for my 82 year old mum. Hospital was very clean, wonderful friendly staff. The seats are very hard in a&e and in sdec. That’s my only complaint. Thank you everyone.

I recently visited A&E with a chest pain, within hours they had examined me, taken bloods, X-ray’s, got results and issued medication. A scan the next day confirmed the diagnosis, such a friendly team who are fabulous at their jobs, friendly and caring, and to top it off kept us going with tea and biscuits, Thankyou so much everyone

Review titled Excellent service

I was referred by my GP for a suspected cyst and to rule out that it was nothing more sinister. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I was treated with dignity, professionalism and most of all fantastic care from everyone I saw and spoke to. Most importantly, each and everyone one of them reassured me and made me feel at ease throughout the whole experience. Thank you. A special thank you to the individuals of the Breast Clinic team who took the time and consideration the previous week that put the wheels in motion for me to have the thorough investigations that I had today. Amazing team that do a fantastic job.

Review titled Good experience so far apart from a small concern
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I have chosen the maternity services of King Mills Hospital because according to the CQC the care is outstanding. I am 18 weeks pregnant and so far I have been very pleased with the care I've received. The staff members have been very helpful and pleasant. My only concern is that I was told that I will need to be wearing a mask during my scan. I do not wish to wear a mask and this cannot be mandated to patients. I hope I won't be needing to argue that with anyone and the care I receive is at the same level that it has been so far.
