Review titled Amazing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Kirsten Pounds - Posted on 27 October 2022
The care I received was outstanding. Every single person who cared for me was so kind, caring and considerate. I couldn’t have wished for a better team and just wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to every single person who was a part of my recovery. Everyone went above and beyond for me.

A&E looked extremely busy and so full yet all the staff had time and a smile for you. I was very well looked after and my back injury was totally cared for. Thank you.

Review titled Efficient, professional, reassuring
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attended the X-ray department for a dental x-Ray. All members of the team from the front desk to the technician conducting the X-ray were friendly, professional and highly efficient. Department is clean, well laid out, and has clear signage and information. Highly recommend.

Review titled Clinical care excellent
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Sueg - Posted on 01 January 2023
The nursing care was so good on the ward, as was the consultant care. I had a triple heart bypass. The hospital itself looks worn out, inside and out, in some places needing a good wash down. The beds, chairs, even sheets and pillowcases were beyond saving. Such a shame for the staff who had to make the best of things. It was hard at times trying to communicate unfortunately with staff who hadn’t English as first language, other times where staff only had English in common it was much easier.

Review titled Lack of food
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Gerry Challenger - Posted on 28 October 2022
Wonderfull service from all theatre staff and ward nurses couldn’t have asked for better. I returned to the ward around six that evening but did not get any food or hot drink that evening or pain relief. The following day I again got no breakfast or hot drink and nothing was forthcoming at lunchtime. I mentioned this to the sister who was horrified and went out and made me a coffee. The sister came back with a gentleman who was suited and booted and holding an iPad and who never introduced himself but stood by the end of the next bed whilst I believe the sister was explaining the problem I guessed this was the catering manager as he suddenly said to the room you can have something to eat now. I pointed out to him that I had just been discharged so his offer was a bit late and with that he turned on his heel and walked out the ward.I had to return to the triage unit three days later and once again the staff were brilliant and it’s just a shame that the food and drink experience blighted the wonderfull treatment especially the man in the suit with the iPad. Thank you to the Surgeon Doctors and Nurses for your care and dedication
