Spent what felt like a very long evening at this dept, through no fault of their own the wait time was excessive. Even though arrived by ambulance. However, all of the staff, the nurses taking the tests, the tri age doctor, the x ray team (yes i had it all) each one could not have been more helpful or caring, to the final doctor who explained everything in easy to understand language with the knowledge that all would be well, but if any questions then just to call. I have never had to use the A & E before, we are extremely lucky to have them.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. Our staff in the Emergency Department are under considerable pressure at the moment, and feedback like this reassures and reminds them of the positive difference they are making on a daily basis. Had pr op should have had a phone call with time off surgery .Nothing still waiting ,been ringing different departments no one answering.not been for op been told to stop diabetic tablets for three days.Rang surgeons secretary at 8.3 am still no answers.I just can’t believe this behaviour
