Who ever decided on creating this service needs a big pat on the back , Iv used it few times now , and I am blown away with how quick someone gets back to u , they send u text to say someone looking into my problem and will get back by the end of the next working day . But Iv never had to wait that long not long after I sent off my concerns someone rings you back . It’s so helpful to know you can send off your concerns and you get prompt response, it’s marvelous thank you .

Having moved to Whitstable in June 2020, we registered with this practice. Since then I have had the upmost care from the doctors and medical team. Their online consultations work very well, which means there is no queueing on the phone for hours. It’s stress free and once it’s done, you can rest assured you will be taken care of. Every member of staff I have met here has been kind, patient, generous with their time and very supportive. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Since joining this practice five years ago, my husband and I have received excellent care. Things have been investigated promptly and fixed on a number of occasions. We are grateful for the wonderful treatment we've had. Estuary view is amazing too. Thank you all very much for what you do.

When contacting my surgery I’m told that the next time a Dr is available to call me (this to ascertain if I need to actually be seen) will be in ten days. It was then a further wait for the actual appointment. I’m then sent a text encouraging me to let people know that the surgery is now accepting new patients and you do not need to live in the area to be accepted. The surgery cannot provide a reasonable standard of care to its current patients but is actively recruiting more….

Dear Patient I'm sorry that you feel the wait for a routine telephone appointment is not acceptable. Please be reassured that we have capacity to see patients urgently, often the same day, when clinically necessary. Thank you for your comments surrounding our recent publication of the out of area scheme that Whitstable Medical Practice has been signed up to since 2015. Whilst we completely value and appreciate your comments, we would like to reassure you that any increase in patient numbers will be matched appropriately with clinical and administrative resource. We are in the very fortunate and increasingly unique position (when compared with the situation nationally) of being able to continue to successfully recruit excellent staff of all grades. It is therefore our desire to be able to allow additional patients to benefit from the services we offer, services that may be lacking closer to the patient's home. There is no practice in the country that will be able to fully satisfy the demand on GP appointments which will always be a finite resource. We recognise at times our service may fall short of some patients' expectations but pride ourselves on being able to offer the best possible access for patients given the increasing complexities involved. I attend very very infrequently - hence with negative press about GP services I was concerned that I may have trouble seeing my GP. How wrong was I. A spoke to the receptionist about my symptoms, who then said my GP would contact me. She gave me some items there and then that I would probably need so I need it return. My GP rang me within the hour and arranged medication. What fantastic service and organisation. Great team -well done👏
