Review titled Problems with regular prescriptions for Controlled drug

This is the only way I can find to contact the practice to explain a problem I am having. My mother requires a prescription for a controlled drug every 28 days. She is elderly and unable to contact the practice herself therefore I am careful to email the practice every month in plenty of time to ensure she gets a continuous supply of this drug. Every month the pharmacy tell me that the prescription has not arrived from the practice in time. It is then extremely difficult and time consuming to contact the surgery to explain the problem and get it resolved. Shouldn't the prescription team prioritise prescriptions like this? It would also be really helpful to get meaningful responses to my email so that I know when/whether my request has been actioned. I am now getting blank autoreply messages from the prescription team. I know everyone istrying hard and probably is overworked too but this situation is adding to stress for the pharmacy, an 89 year old and me too as I try to juggle resolving this alongside a full time job.

Not long joined this practice, approx 2 months, what a refreshing change to belong to a practice who cares about their patients despite being incredibly busy, from reception staff to the drs, their website is terrific, can’t fault them, they have restored my faith in a gp service thank you

Wentworth is a very busy practice. However, I have always found all the staff there friendly and professional. They always make time to listen and try to deal with every problem. I have witnessed members of staff under extreme pressure who have nonetheless remained calm and polite - unfortunately, the same cannot always be said for the people they have to deal with. I have received excellent healthcare from the practice for many years from a number of different doctors. Given that there are time constraints on doctors’ time, they work wonders. I thank them for their care and hope they realise they are greatly appreciated.

40 minutes to answer the phone. It is my first experience with this practice since I have just signed up with them. While I was signing up at the practice patients' private matters were discussed openly in the reception/waiting area with 0 regard for privacy. Please, let me know if you are aware of a good medical practice in the area that actually offers medical help.

The doctor that took out and replaced my implant today was fantastic.even though it wasn't my first time she went through the whole procedure and I didn't even realise she was done.thats the best implant session I have had since I started using nexplanon

I have been registered at this practice for 9 months, as has my baby son. To date I have only had reason to engage with the practice in relation to my son but the care has been great. The medical staff have always been friendly and put me and my baby at ease and the reception staff are always helpful and do their best for you, including trying to avoid delays, like ensuring vaccination appointments happen on time when availability looks difficult and hurrying up a repeat prescription. I’d definitely recommend.
