Called Weds am. GP got back to me shortly after. Arranged bloods same day, results back and another call from gp within 48 hours, with a plan quickly put in place. So helpful to have such a speedy and efficient service. Matter of fact, clear approach that I valued. Thank you. Really helpful and valued.

I contacted the surgery with a health issue.. following triage I received a telephone call from a doctor who after paying due diligence to my general health diagnosed my issue. Medicines were prescribed and were ready to collect by mid afternoon. The tablets were very effective and a follow up appointment made for the end of the course. Face to face Appointment was duly conducted and further tests ie bloods were scheduled. The time and care thoroughness and concern were much appreciated as was the knowledge of the staff. My gratitude to you all.

Recently I have received excellent service from the East Leake surgery. Following a routine health assessment, I needed further investigations. The follow up appointments occurred within 2-3 weeks and were efficiently carried out at Ruddington and the City hospital. I was most impressed by the attention and kindness of all the NHS staff. The staff on the East Leake reception desk were also very accommodating and I received an unexpected follow up call from the GP who had carried out the initial consultation. I therefore found the whole experience to be very reassuring on many levels and remain impressed and grateful for the all round care that I received at East Leake. Many thanks again.

I have waited just over a month now for a letter from my son’s GP as proof of his disabilities. Initially I had to wait 14 days for the doctor to return from his annual leave, I then spoke directly with the GP concerned and was told the letter would be ready two days later. It never arrived. For the past two weeks I have been chasing this letter as a matter of urgency. I have called into the surgery twice, rang several times to be told by receptionists that I won’t get it for free (I wasn’t expecting to!), that they’ll pass on my query to his secretary as a matter of urgency ect ect! I have 48hrs in which to submit this very urgent letter to the local council before my application, which has so far taken three and a half months is cancelled altogether and I will have to start the entire process again! I am absolutely furious that I have been kept waiting this length of time when the doctor and the reception staff are aware of the urgency. If the doctor didn’t want to write this letter, I would have appreciated it if he told me in the first place. Don’t promise something for two days later and then not go through with it! I expected more professionalism than this and I certainly don’t need the patronising tone from the receptionist when I enquire as to where said letter is. I am livid in the extreme at the shocking lack of service and poor attitude of the reception staff in general.
