    I’m extremely happy with nearly all staff, including reception. The majority of Doctors & nurses here, provide excellent care as part of the service they provide in their roles. They are very supportive and have a wide range of excellent skills that they use to be able to help a patient best as quick as they can. Even if they assess a patient over the telephone, I found their ability to assess me was spot on. I find nearly 100% of staff here are perfect due to the range of skills they have and provide at an excellent level of quality.

    I have called several times since December 22, as of today 5 Feb 23 still not been able to get an appointment or even get through on the phone or by e-mail. In fact emails are never answered!

    Dear Sharron Anderson, Apologies for the late response. Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced in arranging an appointment at the Practice. GP Surgeries are experiencing significant and growing demand, and patients having to wait longer for appointments. We do offer walk-in face-to-face appointments and telephone consultations on a daily basis. We also have pre-bookable appointments every day, you can book by telephoning or by coming into the surgery in person. We provide online service to book an appointment with a doctor, nurse or other health care professionals. We offer E-Consults, which will enable you to contact Ferryview Health Centre anytime, and someone will get back to you within 24 hours. We also have weekday evening appointments between 6.30pm and 8.pm Monday to Friday, you can call or use our online services to book evening and weekend appointments.

    I have seen doctors in this practice a few times already. None of their appointments happened on time. It's common to wait for at least 30 - 40 minutes. Twice I waited for 1 hour without anyone telling me beforehand such a long delay! When check with the reception why long delay, which is unacceptable, their attitude just shows that they don't care. They have no time to care for any delay. That makes me feel like "it is your duty to wait, no matter how long delay. Don't bother the reception, not our responsibility for checking this!"

    Every time I speak or see doctors they are very thorough and always sort out the problem and always listen to what you have to say and always check everything like your blood pressure and ask you questions

    The e-consult system was easy to use and much more convenient than waiting on hold. A telephone appointment was made for me the following week. My telephone appointment was sufficiently long enough to address my issue. My only suggestion would be to provide some flexibility around dates/times as I would have preferred to wait a few more days, if required, to book a more convenient time. The Doctor was friendly and listened to all of my concerns. They were knowledgeable and I feel comfortable going to them for medical advice in the future. Thank you!

    The lady i spoke to this morning on behalf of my father was very professional but also friendly and it really came across that she cared about my fathers health. She sorted out numerous appointments and problems swiftly with a really caring and understanding manner. Receptionists across the board in all areas (not just health ) could learn a lot from this lady. Usually calling doctors surgeries is a nightmare but this lady receptionist shows how it should be done ! Well done that lady !

    The environment was clean and quiet with friendly staff. The nurse is also friend,she went through details perfectly and examination was done professionally. It's a memorable experience.

    I find this practice friendly, helpful and efficient. I recently moved there from a practice in Royal Arsenal nearby that was terrible. It’s such a relief to move somewhere where I’m treated with dignity and respect.

    Not sure who is manning the reception desk phone, but she is most unhelpful. I called to request my usual birth control pill prescription, and she refused at the first instance saying I need to come in for my annual review. I insisted I had my last review only a few months ago. She reluctantly checked my records again, and confirmed it was complete. So when I repeated my request for the regular prescription to be sent through to the registered pharmacy, she said "it's all done" and ended the phone call. When nothing came into the pharmacy after 2 days (in line with policy), I called back the reception again. I was told no prescription request is on my records from the day of my phone call! This is not the first time I have struggled with the reception desk's response. I can't remember the last time I placed a request for my pills without any issues. So I always run out of pills because I have to go back and forth a few times before somebody sorts out my prescription request. I have never found a satisfactory explanation for the delays and obstacles. I have now come to dread the stress when the time to request a new prescription draws near (every three months). I should add I have never faced any problem at the physical reception desk in the GP surgery, but the interaction with the phone receptionist is most frustrating because you cannot rely on them for help on even the most straightforward requests.
