Review titled Keyworker unable to book appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 May 2023
Get a text on 28/4/23 to book appointment to review my BP. Was told by doctor to book face to face so he can also review my medication and result of a blood test. So I ring today and was told I need to phone at 8am in the mornings. I told them that I am at work and I’m unable to call. And when I have called before that I’m waiting in a queue then to find all appointments gone. There is major concerns about this surgery. Unable to get help that you need.

Review titled disappointing practice

email for e-consultant link as had blood in urine and ask for advice or regarding seeing doctor or nurse, email me back and stated they removed it for the best interest of safety and patient??? only used for sick notes e.c.t.... and told just to keep ringing up from 8am to try get appointment. spoke to practice manager again no advice given regarding blood or hub number or what to do, as well as dealing with a complaint i had about a gp?? manager never listened sadly, not given patients the choice if they found better making appointments on?? it was change a week ago..... so now i been ringing and 39 in que? so taking away on line appointments has hindered the patients more so the variable, elderly, disability, well being, for these who can not Offord to keep on phone, manager mention someone who deals with my c.o.p.d, medication will contact me?? this not relevant to the blood in my urine , i did mention i not uncomfortable, but feel mu urine needed to be checked, again not one bit of advice in the email or over the phone.... Now i ask myself removing the on line appointment, or e-consultation was it for the interest of the GP surgery it self has patient never had a choice , so now are suffering.... you can not email practice manager has all receptionist reads and sees?? so not confidential... i understand covid played a big role, but we are back to normal and i feel it is used now as an excuse to most medical practices ... But for this GP practice to remove on line and e-consultation not informing patients by text or letter is terrible, now we suffer... the point of this at least GPs can read see images to decide weather appointment is needed or direct patient or advice patient what best to do?? i got copies of the email not been given advice and a witness regarding phone call no advice given not even by practice manager

Review titled Rubbish new management
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Sandy D - Posted on 18 April 2023
Today I find out that the only way to get an appointment is to call in the morning. No more pre booking in advance or no more online appointment can be made. Only in the morning so if you have children like me you have to choose between taking kids to school or actually trying to get an appointment for not urgent illness, for example I needed repeat test done but can’t be done because cannot get dr appointment. Absolutely rubbish no good surgery. Really thinking to leave this absolute careless place, I can’t even call it doctors surgery.

Review titled Not acceptable
Rated 1 star out of 5

After being told to call back in the morning I was in a queue being number 50! 1 hour and 40 minutes later told no more appointments available for today!! How is this acceptable? Why cant we go back to booking online? Even an appointment booked for however long in the future is better than no appointment at all. I was not offered an alternative Receptionists are very matter of fact there is no empathy or offer of a suggestion on what to do next I get the impression they are smirking I have been with this surgery since a small child and am seriously deciding what to do for the best, I just want to be able to at least book an appointment it isnt much to ask from a GP is it?

Review titled New Management Same Issues

So you can't pre book anymore, not helpful when at 8am you're working , more chance of a lottery win to be honest, I have rung and gone through the queue only for it to ring and ring and then ring a bit more without answer, if you do get through and get an appointment how are you meant to get there drop everything and leave work, absolutely no help for working people or those with children, do they expect you to take a day off in hope more than expectation every time. Only got one by moaning by email and then had to go all the way to Dagenham for it. Had routine bloods done, got a text saying book an appointment for somebody to call, 10 day wait for that too

Review titled E consult service
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 April 2023
It was excellent time when Tulasi introduced e consult service since it is very difficult to get an appointment on phone starting 8 , then we used to fill in e consult form and used to get appointment or call in 48 to 60 hours, now since it is stopped, patients are feeling great difficulty in getting appointment from GP . My humble request to management is to start again for convenience of patients e consult service. It is pity I can see how comments are coming for tulasi, it is only that patients are upset to get medical advise .Who has spare time today to waste time in hospital emergency or out of hours GP . Please make either on line bookings for GP through Ap or e consult must be started again to facilitate tulasi patients I hope my request will reach tulasi management to consider my humble request in the wider interest of patients. I have no comments of staff taking calls, they are all wonderful and helpful, but it is beyond their powers to go out of management policies

Review titled Excellent service by GPs and management staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ehtisham Shirazi - Posted on 24 April 2023
I would like to share my experience of tulasi GP surgery with its two more branches, parloes and ripple road, where the staff dealing with receiving phone calls are quite patience, try to listen and solve problems of the caller's. As for the GPs, no doubt they are competent, helpful and listen to patients to try to solve problems face to face or on online consultations. Secretary tulasi is very helpful and responds back to enquiries next day, that is appreciated. Almost all nursing staff is competent, friendly and very helpful The only difficulty is getting an appointment on phone in the morning. I would suggest that few years back tulasi had a system of online bookings even a day before, that can be introduced again to facilitate patients Another is e consult link which used to be sent by reception, we used to fill in the form and within 48 hours we used to get e mail for appointment, both suggestions may pl be re-considered. Tulasi is our hope to healthiness , sorry I can see on website very discouraging comments about tulasi, I feel sorry about it. Always there is room for improvement, the Ceo Tulasi should call group of patients to discuss face to face about the difficulties which patients are facing to make improvements
