my daughter has many health conditions, she disabled , vanrable. i needed her check as her blood pressure was very very low and urine funny colour and a mole that was odd looking... she only see female GP, but on this occassion a nure resured me sh emake appointment with a GP whoo got very good reveiws and who check his pateint health.... phone call change time but told same doctor... got there receptionist, who you seeing? find that to be odd being she looked at system to book he rin.. reply not sure nurse booked it and told me with a really good doctor , but time change???? GP was ten mins late calling her in?? but i put this down to reading why she was there? GP introduce themself , mention i heard his got very good reveiws, he siad no i am a difernt doctor she seeing??? told us ten mins?? only listened for 2 min, then decided to read out all her history of who she under in hospitals?? unnessary and never gave my daughter thought how that made her feel. last time she saw a GP was in 2022?? for a condition.. i manage to mention the colour of urine ,totally ignored me... then pointed to his head tapping well how long she had th ebrain thingy?? how unnessary to do this to a vanrable patient .. he told her he only started at the sugary today?? i felt so bad as it was me who got around my daughter telling her it be okay... all GP said tell you what i seen you about that mole hows that?? plus your under top dogs at the hospital up london .. so wait till they see you?? so i said so wast of appointment then your saying??? oooo nooo.. he took up all 7 mins of that appointment talking? it is wrong not to listen to the pateint or the carer? it is unnessary to mention every condition to the pateint, when they only in for something totally different ? strange jan i had appointment and another new GP do the same thing? My daughter closed her self in, blamed me for telling th e GP she seeing surpose to have good reveiws?? no one mention it be with a different GP? on arrivel.. . one receptionist was lovely very helpful though. but never got to speak to her, i ask why was she given a differnt doctor and was not mentioned? they just pulled their shoulders up and ignored me

Review titled Very poor
Rated 1 star out of 5

2017 I fell got a slipped disc and had to go private for the surgery in2019. Now,I am 20 percent covered in psoriasis and their consultants have been prescribing topical steroids for the past three years with no end in sight. Their consultant told me that I would have to be covered a lot more before she changes to giving me a more effective treatment. I have made yet another appointment to go private. I pay for this service but there is poor service here. I wonder what might happen when I retire and can no longer afford to pay to go private.

Review titled Close this Surgery
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 January 2024
This surgery has progressively got worse, its lottery system of appointments is a joke. Its receptionists think nothing of having a personal chat with each other & ignoring patients waiting at the counter. Drs have no time & only give half the information they should do. The surgery is still accepting new patients yet cannot even handle a fraction of its registered patients. The founder of this surgery must be turning in his grave over what has happened to the legacy that he left upon his untimely death it all seems about money now rather than caring illing profession. Time to close this surgery & start again with fresh managers & staff. Also remove the monopoly they have in the area by running the other loacl surgeries so people have a choice

Review titled Extremely poor
Rated 1 star out of 5

We’ve experience exceptionally poor support and service from Tulasi, it takes over 40 minutes to get through on the phone, only to be told there are no appointments available and to call back the next day. They also do not allow you to pre book on another day! My child’s referral to the allergy clinic has been in progress for a year. Everytime I chased I was told it’s been done and I just need to wait and there is nothing else they can do. I moved my family over to a new GP and within 2 days of them submitting the request the referral appointment came through. I would recommend changing GP if you are with Tulasi Medical Centre

Review titled Waste of time
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 September 2023
I called at the time they stated just to make sure I would be the first one in the queue, after almost an hour of holding they hung up on me. This is truly a waste of time of working professionals. We would only call if it was something important? Hanging up on someone like this is truly unprofessional behaviour. At least pick up and say something. There is no alternative ways to request the service, I firmly believe there should be. Such as using the nhs app for requesting repeat medications etc. paying so much tax for such low unprofessional behaviour. Truly dissatisfied

I was on hold for over an hour for the prescription service and the phone was hung up on me. The is a short window of time for calling for prescription which is unreasonable.

Review titled So unsafe

I called at 8am on the dot for an appointment because I have a breast lump!! I waited on hold today for an appointment for 58 minutes and only to be told you don't have any appointments and i cannot pre book for another day, They do not even offer e consult anymore I work as. A clinician in a Gp surgery so cannot cancel on patients and drop everything for the rare appointment they do have to offer with no flexibility! I called for. A breast lump because I’m scared I have cancer and desperately need to be seen! Absolutely pathetic! Hope CQc shut it down! It’s already rated inadequate

Biggest problem with this place is the receptionists, they have horrible attitudes towards the people they are meant to be helping. Practice manager no help either she lets them do what they want.

Review titled not so great practice

i think gp should allow a patient time to ask a question??? I notice when i tried to ask something the doctor states not time? or let me just write this? then you ask? doctor times up?? so gp was not prepared to listen to any of my concerns or even time for me to ask a question regarding a blood test as to what it testing for? so very sad really they do not seem to find time to inform you why they are do you a blood test as much yes, for the tablets they just issued you? but never tell you what they testing for? because you can not ask why? they say times up? so please listen to your patients, tell them why your giving blood test and what your testing for? then i would not have to goggle and realise it is a risky tablet you issued me? i want to know why has a patient, i want my GP to listen... allow me to ask questions give me an extra five mins after all you keep me waiting 20 mins late to what my appointment was meant
