I range the day before to book in for a blood test and was told i am booked in for the following day at 9:45. I even received a text message to confirm this! So i cancelled 2 meetings at work, 1 of which is with important clients because health comes first. I went in the cold and wet weather to the medical practice to be told you don’t have an appointment today its next week. I was made to feel it was my own fault for coming on the wrong day. When i showed my text the receptionist said my colleague sent it in error. No apology or anything. I think this is disgusting i have taken time out to come and changed meetings just to be told its the wrong date. They made a mistake but were very washy about it. I just walked away from the situation in the end. I question if next week my appointment will be the real thing or will i be told again its the wrong day!

I asked for a telephone appointment within next few days. My normal experience has been at least a week or usually 2 weeks wait. The appt was on behalf of my son who has high functioning autism suffering with depression. I was amazed I had a call the same day in the morning and a face to face appointment arranged for following week. So relieved this was given serious attention.

I have not attempted to use Doctors for a few years regarding illness, today was my first experience. I tried for appointment on the phone, i was told i had to fill in from on line for this. I was then directed to pharmacy next door and to turn up to be seen. I did this to be told i need an appointment and shouldn't have been sent there. I have no idea anymore how i get seen by a doctor. I have worked and paid contributions for 27 years but i feel like i'm back of the queue compared to others that have not contributed to these services. If i could opt out and go private i would. I seem to have more trouble getting seen by my surgery compared to others i work with.

Had reason to have interactions with 2 of the nurses on separate occasions , one for a smear and one for B12 injection - absolutely lovely ladies - so friendly and reassuring - fantastic service

Years of regular blood tests at practice and hospital and often experience problems with missing test and pain. At the surgery the blood test were accurate the technique was amazingly pain free and the person taking the test was kind and supportive … as far as tests go… the best one I ever had. We laughed at the end and I said ‘you are like a ray of sunshine’ thank you!

I went into the practice today (7/8/2023 at around 16:10) for some tests and the staff that I dealt with were great, helpful and very friendly. They made me feel comfortable when I felt anxious/nervous and was overall a good experience.

Both myself and my husband have had cause to contact this surgery in the last 2 weeks - fantastic service - we both used the consulting room portal and were contacted the same day - my husband actually spoke to a doctor and had mri sorted within 4hrs and the mri done within 4days - brilliant. I had my medication sorted the same day and even the pharmacist was brilliant in his advice - cannot fault at all -

I have continuous mild left chest pain now for 12 weeks, this was a follow up to A&E not finding anything in early May, save an unexplainable mild anomaly. I am pleased to report that arriving 10 mins early I had a wait of less than 5 minutes. A very nice lady took my blood sample, on July 10. She was courteous, respectful and efficient, a pleasure to visit. The appointment was on time and all done in well under 10 minutes. And for the first time no bruises.
