    Very happy with my experience this morning. Having had a problem with an implant fitted elsewhere, the doctor kindly agreed to change it. My appointment was on time, the doctor and the lady assisting were both very pleasant and the swap was done quickly and feels a million times better already- very grateful.

    The male receptionist who took my phonecall was so friendly and easy to talk to! Extremely helpful and made me feel at ease and not like I was wasting the gp surgery's time

    Had a very comfortable and detailed smear test done with the nurse at Tower Hill. She made me feel so much at ease and provided a step by step introduction to the procedure. Great nurse, great atmosphere created.

    What’s happened to the doctors at this practice..can’t get No appointments.. Have to make appointments on Internet if there are any..have to wait up 2 days for a call from surgery.. Get email to confirm..second email asking questions..then a call from nurse physician..still Noadvice from doctors..looks as this place is run by receptionist and nurses..

I can assure you that you can make a doctors appointment on the day if the issue is urgent and advise that the online forms are purely for non-urgent issues, where you will be contacted within 48 hours.     I saw the nurse today for my cervical screening which I was dreading after a less than pleasant experience at a previous surgery. The nurse was incredibly patient and kind and made me feel so at ease I have no fear about returning in 3 years as long as I have her again.

  8. Review titled Getting appointment is impossible

    What do I have to do to get an appointment at this practice?? The online system is appalling no matter what time it’s full to capacity with in 1 second, calls are never answered having to wait prolong period of time on the phone. I have not been able to get an appointment for over a month know and my symptoms have got worse. I have given up with this practice all together and the excuse is unacceptable!!!!!

    Dear Patient, thank you for your feedback. I can only apologise for your frustration in making an appointment at the surgery. If you do find you cannot make an appointment, via telephone or online, you can ask a member of staff to complete an online form for you. We also now have a new telephone system, with a call back option, which should help some what to alleviate the waiting times on the telephone. If you do wish to discuss this further with me, please complete a feedback form on the website or call the surgery (after 11 when the lines are less busy).     Visited here recently to sign up as new client, had my medical check up where I informed the member of staff I was several weeks pregnant. Told I needed to go to reception to book two appointments. Waited in line for 10 mins to be told by receptionist the nurse had told me incorrect info and I can not book appointments ahead I have to ring up every day at 7am to get in. I explained I was pregnant for the receptionist to tell me they won’t really push it until 12 weeks. Also I explained how difficult it would be for me to get an appointment at short notice due to working so far away This is very concerning as it’s not a medical emergency. Seems very poor communication I have come away feeling very frustrated and slightly stressed .

    This practice has gone down hill. The on line form does not work you log on early in morning at 7 and within 5 minutes it’s fully booked. The system is not working even logging into nhs app to book appointment and not available, phoning in no matter how early and you are left waiting in que for prolong period of time. The online forms asks for personal details what ever happen to patient confidentiality???? Messages are sent back asking for more details some things can not be put in forms basically going backwards and forwards even then appointment is not given or is given weeks later. A diagnosis cannot be made reading a form I have given up trying to book with this practise. Need to have a better system in place may be open on weekends for those of us who work.
