    I used econsult recently and I was kept informed of when the Gp would call and the day . It was a quick and easy way to get my problems listened to. I would recommend .

    I had a text message to contact surgery with regards to a blood test for medication review. I called surgery on several occasions and finally on fourth attempt got through to a member of staff who informed me I couldn’t arrange medication review over the phone that I needed to do it online even though I was speaking with her. I asked if it would be within the next few days as I needed a prescription. She said I should order it online. I informed her that I couldn’t until I’d had the review as repeated prescription needed to be approved. Although the practitioner who called was very thorough and extremely helpful, as time slot was not given in advance it was only by luck that I was able to take the call. I am not able to take calls at work and was worried I would miss the call. It would be preferable to have the option on the web page to put contactable times. I hope this feedback will improve the service.

We have developed a dedicated eHub and team (clinical and admin) that support fast efficient, triage and prioritisation of all forms received to the Practice each day. Our team are trained to assess each contact and respond to ensure that those patients who need to be seen get offered an appointment same day where appropriate.     Quite lengthy to use but persevere and the service is fast and efficient. The call back was very fast, they checked I could take a call from the GP and he called shortly after. All sorted and less than 24 hours start to finish. The only gripe would be that the GP was not very loud on the phone, could have been hands free, but we got there in the end. Good service

    I’ve been using the online E consult and it’s absolutely fantastic! You fill it in the night before, someone triages it and depending on the matter you’ll get a call back as quick as the next day! If you need to be seen, they’ll call you in. I had an issue on one occasion but other than that it’s been really good and quicker than calling in at 8am!

    I rang the doctors today was no 7 in que was waiting for 2 hours in total got to number 1 and after a while had a recording came up saying my call transfer to general enquiries failed for me to ring bk later. I rang straight bk and was caller no 5 got to no 1 again was waiting for another 2 hours by this time it was 6.40pm and they close at 6.30pm. I got the same recording as earlier. So in total 4 hours of trying to speak to someone on the telephone and not getting through. This is ridiculous and something needs to be done about it

    I have been ill a week, trying to do home remedies for a cough, unfortunately it has got worse and I’m coughing green and brown! So clearly a chest infection! Call for days, cant get appointment! Then told tk E consult, did that! GP’s text will get a call 3/1/23! A week away! I need help now! I’m also sick from work and need a sick note! Can’t get a sick note because they don’t know what’s wrong with me!!! Honestly no wonder people are dying! Not good enough! I call surgery again and a stroppy receptionist says yeah well everyone wants the same thing! Paying into a system and don’t get seen! Yet others who haven’t paid a penny get seen! Figure that!

    Used the e consult app to get a gp to call, filled out all the questions. Received a response stating a gp would be in touch by 6.30 the following day. Just received a text message stating the gp won’t be calling until tomorrow now rather than the day your e consult app had specified.
