  1. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 3 stars out of 5

After recent health problems that had been going on for several months I saw a lovely female GP. She referred me for tests that I didn't have to wait too long for. I didn't have to chase the results she kept me informed with either texts or phone calls. She was very caring and has got to the bottom of my problem. A credit to her profession and this practice.

Submitted a contact form to request an a pointless to be seen. Contacted within 15 - 20 minutes and given an appointment for early afternoon. When seen I was given a thorough assessment of the issue, given all the time I needed to discuss, be reassured and find a way forward.

I had cause to seek an assessment and advice about a medical problem. I submitted and online request, which was actioned the same day with a GP appointment the following day . This was easy and efficient. The medical and reception staff were very caring and helpful. The doctor listened and addressed my concerns and expectations professionally. I am fully satisfied with this excellent level of care.

  6. Review titled Telephone Appointment

Rated 4 stars out of 5

After receiving test results by text - which I found alarming - I contacted the surgery to request an appointment to speak to a doctor about my results and to discuss my ongoing treatment/care etc. I was given a telephone appointment with the surgery pharmacist which was not what I requested or wanted. However, the time, care, empathy and advice I received from the pharmacist was brilliant. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness, understanding and professionalism.

  7. Review titled Good service

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Early yesterday morning I submitted an online form requesting help for an ongoing condition. Shortly after, I received a phone call giving me a doctor's appointment that morning. After a 20 minute wait, for which the doctor apologised, I was examined and told they would send a letter to the hospital to request further examination. I was prescribed medication that wasn't available at the dispensary but was told it would be available this afternoon. I've just had text this morning to say it's now available. Prompt and efficient service.

  8. Review titled Non one listens or cares

Rated 2 stars out of 5

After 13 years of complaining about severe pain in the shoulder after an accident, finally an operation has repaired the damage which was getting worse. In spite of my insistence that it was a tendon issue, I was ignored and treated for muscle injury after an xray showed no broken bones. Years of frustration at the hands of a system that allows physios to treat you without a full diagnosis and ignore your requests for a full scan or at least an ultra sound scan. Finally, due to the pain in the arm caused by wrongly applied physio exercises and a general weakening of the arm, I was given an ultrasound scan which showed a 2cm by 2cm tear in the bicep ligament. The consultant surgeon asked me why I had not had this treated earlier?...very good question. During the op, the damage was found to be much worse resulting in a rotator cuff repair as well as repairing the torn ligament. All of these years of suffering when a simple ultrasound scan at the beginning would have shown the problem. Thank you National Health Service. The stupid AI checker will not allow more than one capital letter per word.

  10. Review titled Refused to see me for an appointment about pregnancy

Rated 1 star out of 5

I contacted the doctors through the online form early in the morning and explaind what the issue was that has occured for over a week now. A few hours later I recieved a text message saying that there was nothing that can be done and my last bloods showed that my hormone levels are normal. ( the doctor told me at the time that this changes all the time and is not reliable from month to month). Further more the NHS website said to contact the GP, as early as 3 days for the issue that I've got. So because of this I called to find out why I couldn't see a doctor, as I am concerned about my health issue. The receptionists response was absolutely absurd, rude and uncalled for, she laughed at me and stated, that she failed to see why I was concenred. I responded with, the NHS website told me to call the doctors and this has been going on for over a week. She then hung up on me. I am in the process of changing doctors and when did receptionists go to medical school! I was left feeling as though I'd done something wrong by trying to seek help.
