I was seen by the nurse when I Explained thathat I had not made the appointment but as the surgery had sent me a reminder text I felt that I should turn up. Obviously someone had made a mistake. Not me. The nurse Was very gracious as always.

  4. Review titled The lodge feedback

Rated 4 stars out of 5

The doctor that saw me which I can’t name for whatever reasons… (down to the app not allowing me to refer to an individual. But I assume it wil be recognised accordingly.) wasn’t sure if we had met before in any appointments. I didn’t believe so, but straight away she was an understanding empathetic ‘normal’ individual. Her manner would be accepted by any patient, as her professional approach and respect for an individual’s health seems paramount. She has no ‘hierarchy’ intimidation like some of our previous cohorts of GPs have been nationwide. She seems like the character you’d meet in a cafe and still she’d blend in.

  5. Review titled Brilliant GP Surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a emergency appointment and I can honestly say it was really good she listened to me and didn't rush the appointment she carried out all the usual observations and nothing was to much for her she made a follow-up appointment with herself there and then and I came away from my appointment feeling extremely satisfied with the outcome and not just hurried along and was treated like a real person not just another patient to tick off the list.

  6. Review titled Very caring and prompt service !

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Liz - Posted on 13 September 2024

I have, unfortunately, had to visit the surgery on several occasions recently and have found their service excellent. Each GP I have seen has been very efficient and caring, often, in my opinion, going the extra mile to ensure I received prompt treatment. Thank you.

  7. Review titled Relatively quick response but rushed consultation

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 September 2024

I sent the e-consultation form through Sunday night for a non acute issue for which I needed an appointment soon though. The practise was meant to call back by Tuesday night. However, I had to call on Wed to follow up. The GP had reviewed the form and suggested appointment within one week, which I got given but had to drive to the Redbourne practice even I live very close to the Highfield practice. At the appointment the GP asked all the necessary questions and explained the process but in a very rushed way, the appointment took only about 7 min, so there was no need to rush.

Asked pertinent questions in an empathetic manner and gave sound advice in plain English. I felt listened to and valued, I left confident in my treatment and long-term future medical care.
