I had a telephone follow up on 21/5/24 with a GP that I have been seeing for some time now. I feel she has fully supported me with all my health concerns, if it was not for this caring GP I would have really struggled at this difficult time. Thank you for all your hard work.

I called into the surgery in person to make an appointment for a blood test, the receptionist was very pleasant and said I could come the following morning at 9.30 am and she would send me a message to confirm and remind me. I never received the message, and when I came the next morning there was no reservation in my name. Fortunately the receptionist that morning, a different one from the day before, managed to get me in straight away.

Dear James I'm pleased to hear the receptionist was pleasant, but I'm sorry you weren't correctly booked an appointment. I'm grateful the receptionist you spoke to when you returned to the surgery was able to rectify the problem and get you seen. I have asked a member of the team to call you to take some additional information so I can investigate and provide feedback to the member(s) of staff invovled. I have recently had a baby and myself and the baby have had to have lots of different appointments for various issues. When I have been about one issue I have then been told I have to book another appointment for all the other issues. Instead of the doctor sorting out all the issues at once when i am there. Also I was told my baby needed an appointment about his liver count at one of my appointments and they wouldn’t tell me what it was for. I had to wait 2 days to find out and was really worried. When I had the appointment the doctor said he didn’t know why I was there as he had been sent results from the hospital about his jaundice levels and they had gone down. I feel like I have received a poor service recently for everything when I have visited this doctor surgery. My family also agrees with this as they have seen what I have had to go through.

Dear patient I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience. Our team work hard to listen to all problems and try to establish whether they are linked or associated. Clinicians will often only have time in a 10 minute consultation to discuss the most urgent or important problem for the patient. I'm sorry to hear about the concern caused waiting for your child's test result. In this instance I received a txt message saying I'm eligible for a Covid booster but upon clicking the link to book it I was only able to book a Flu jab, no mention of Covid, so I did so instead. I'll be there tomorrow morning for a flu jab. Don't know about Covid.

Spoke with Nurse Practitioner who immediately made me feel appreciated and listened with empathy saw my problem from my point of view and immediately sorted would definitely recommend this process

I visited the GP practice on 20/5/24 and found the reception staff were amazing. I needed to make sure that my health concerns were being dealt with and they were very kind and understanding. Later that week I called regarding a consultant letter I was expecting. I felt the member of the telephony team really did her best to help and understood my situation. Thank you so much I appreciate all your help at this challenging time.

I had a telephone appointment in regards to my blood test the practitioner was meant to explain to me about my results and all she said was it high and that I must of not had my medication for it to be that. Then says I need to book an appointment and she will send me a link. The level of compassion and knowledge is underwhelming from this practitioner.

The nurse is so incompetent on communication. It takes weeks for anything to be discussed and come back without chasing. However I did have a good communication with An*r*a the receptionist. She was very efficient, chasing and sorting out other persons mess.

The nurse practitioner listened to my request and asked appropriate questions, then provided me with the options available to me. She gave clear advice and instructions about taking the medication
