I attended a phlebotomy appointment. Arranging the appointment was a good experience. My phone call was answered quickly and dealt with very pleasantly & efficiently… no being held in a queue… a much improved service compared to a couple of years ago. Also there was no waiting in the surgery. My treatment started at the time of my appointment. The blood sample was taken by a trained phlebotomist. It was the third time I have been dealt with by this person & although my veins have been very difficult to find in the past this person has found a vein first time each time. Since the appointment of the new team leader there have been very significant positive improvements that, for me, have massively improved my experience of dealing with the practice. Many thanks to all concerned.

This doctors meet every thing you go for and you get an appointment with in two weeks of you phoning for an appointment

I would like to share my own recent experience at the Grange surgery .I was treated with respect ,and kindness from the doctor who was very approachable allowing me to express my concerns and quickly got things going to the wonderful nurses and the lovely reception staff I doubt BUPA could of done a better job thank you every one .

Attended appointment which was on time. Doctor very helpful and pleased and seemed genuinely interested. Plastic waiting room seats extremely uncomfortable. Telephoning improved recently but still needs attention “over 20 in queue” took15minutes.

Dear patient Thank you for letting us know about your recent experience. I'm sorry you found the waiting room chairs to be uncomfortable. Unfortunately, these chairs must comply with strict infection control guidance, but we will explore alternative solutions to this problem. Thank you for pointing out the long wait on the phones - this is simply unacceptable and we will work to do better. We have challenged ourslelves to answer 95% of calls first time, with a daily average waiting time of 3 minutes or less. Kind regards DS

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Easy to understand practice set up. Pleasant waiting area with useful information for patients. Nice corner for kids to play. Easy access for elderly and wheelchair. Open areas to manoeuvre. Expert staff and approachable willing to answer questions from patients. I’m happy with my surgery.

My partner was suffering badly with suspected Glaucoma and she was fobbed off 3 times. Rang 111 and they said they would call the practice and get a doctor to call her. When nothing happened she rang Grange and was fobbed off yet again by the rude receptionist.

Dear patient Thank you for your feedback. Altough I understand your frustration, I am dissappointed to see the title "useless". I am sorry you felt fobbed off by the Practice, but I hope the team were able to refer you to Opticians, who are specialists in dealing with a range of new eye problems and can use specialist technology to diagnose eye issues, typically within 48 hours. There is absolutely no excuse for receptionists to be percieved as rude, so I would ask you to contact the surgery and provide more information about this incident. I will be happy to investigate this as a formal complaint, suggest learning outcomes for our team and provide you with a full response. Kind regards DS

Staff were very polite but I have been left wondering if the medication that I enquired about is going to be prescribed as I had a blood test first which showed some things up so repeat bloods and some medication but what I went for originally I am left in the dark about

Patches responses have been great with follow up messages and appointments set - alongside Airmid to order my repeat medication very quick and efficient ready to collect at pharmacy
