Review titled Appointments?
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Appointments? - Posted on 21 June 2024
It is almost impossible to get an appointment at this practice. I saw a doctor sometime ago who asked for a full blood test within 4 weeks, it was more than 6 weeks before I could see a nurse, was asked to make an appointment to get the results in 2 weeks to be told the best they could do was a telephone conversation with a nurse about 4 weeks later! I have been in hospital and the consultant has asked that my blood and blood pressure should be checked by my GP as soon as possible. If you phone as an emergency you are told to either phone 999 or 111 guess I will have to be dying to get to see a doctor.

Review titled Reassurance for family
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Mrs Lynda Barnes - Posted on 24 May 2024
Our 92 year old father had recently suffered a fall and his recovery was causing us concern. We attended an appointment with a GP at the practice who conducted a thorough and sympathetic assessment which left us feeling enabled to cope moving forward. Many thanks.

Review titled Inefficient
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I was instructed to make a follow up appointment for my daughter following a previous onsite procedure. This had to be rescheduled. I was texted the details of the new appt. However, when my daughter arrived, the Dr went through the same process of diagnosis. However was unable to assist as it needed to be scheduled with original Dr. Another issue was raised. To which my daughter was advised to rebook online. This was very badly managed from booking the appointment to being dismissed with no action, after waiting for over half an hour to be seen. My daughter left feeling distressed and unheard.

Review titled Good service from individuals
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Robert - Posted on 28 June 2024
Shame I'm unable to name GP, or other staff. Recent event has seen me in the surgery more than I would like. Dr was good to getting me a MRI, once completed there was a very quick turnaround and subsequent investigations to ascertain what is going on with myself. Nurses, pharmacy and reception have all been very helpful and I'm grateful to them.

Review titled Pathetic practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Early this month (January) had a number of issues and feeling very low, I did get a quick appointment due to my conditions but asked by the doctor what did I think the problem was. I was sent to reception to organise a blood test, I was advised she was to busy and to come back later in the day. This I did but I have to wait three weeks for a blood test. Could be dead by then. Real attitude and it's getting worse!

Review titled Clinical physician associate
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Megan - Posted on 26 January 2024
I have seen the clinical physician associate a number of times for appointments. Yesterday I saw them regarding my poorly 15 month old. Every appointment I've had with them, whether it's for myself or my child, they have been extremely thorough and professional. Every time I've walked away feeling positive as the appointment is always so patient centred and I feel involved in the care. I am made to feel comfortable and ask questions if I need to, which I think is so important. It's very apparent that they have extensive clinical knowledge but also know their professional boundaries and when to refer to other professionals, which makes me as the patient feel safe and secure. I'm very grateful to have had such positive experiences with them every time but especially yesterday as it was regarding my child.

Review titled Constantly on hold
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Tom - Posted on 13 November 2023
I’ve been on the phone for 1 hour and 15 mins still no answer. I have given up I’ll phone again tomorrow to be on hold for god knows how long. Everytime we phone it’s a min of an hour call. If we even make the top 10 on the waiting. Constantly cut off
