I've just called to ask for a message to be passed to my GP, the call was answered very quickly by a lovely friendly reception who listened to my issues and advised what she could do next. All receptionists should deal with patients in this way. I'm afraid I didn't get her name, but she should be praised for the way she handled my call

Thank you for your kind review Sarah. Our Patient Service Advisors, (just like many nationally) are the first contact with the practice and as such deal with many challenging situations on the phone and face to face. This created a national campaign to help clamp down on bad behaviour by patients - the link this is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ru4QhVZ2a8 The practice supports them with recorded calls and also CCTV as often the behaviour is alarming and contravenes our Zero Tolerance policy. I would personally like to thank you for taking the time to leave this review, as it has made a difference to the person concerned, and for that I am very grateful. My son who suffers with anxiety going to the GP was met by the advanced nurse practitioner, who immediately put my son at ease with her kind and caring reassurances. She took the time to listen and understand and offer so much help. Fantastic care today and my son had such a positive experience. Not enough thanks is given to our wonderful NHS and I wanted to say a massive thank you!
