I have been with this practice for 14 years and in all that time including during Covid,( when I heard awful stories of GP practices leaving people standing outside in the freezing cold and rain while the receptionists chatted inside.. non of that.. they saw people all the way through, inside seated at a suitable distance) and have been a really good practice. They contact you when they say they are going to and give you an appointment as soon as humanly possible. If you have an urgent problem they act accordingly despite what are obviously challenging times with GP recruitment. Thank you Sunnymead

My actual surgery is Hillview but when my appointment came through it was for Sunny Meed which is two minutes away. The check in was smooth. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. I was seen a little late but it was the end of the day and didn’t cause me a problem. The doctor understood my issues and prescribed medication. I was slightly concerned that my appointment wasn’t actually at my usual practice but if it ever happens again I know not to worry.

Phoned at 8 in the morning was seen in the surgery at 10 past 9. Thought I would have trouble getting seen but the receptionist heard in my voice that I was ill, I got lucky

You need to wait 45 minutes for a question. I called cereral times and no repsonse.The practise is not well oragbiased.

If you are able to, you can send us your request online weekdays from 8am until 12 o'clock via our website https://sunnymeedsurgery.nhs.uk/. This is the quickest and safest way to get in touch with us and also ensures the phone lines are kept free for patients who might not be able to use the internet. Our little boy attended a 10 week check at the start of the year. Scales were placed on the medical bed and an incorrect weight was taken (either because they were not calibrated, or because they were not placed on a hard surface). The suggested weight loss caused anxiety and my wife and I felt compelled to attend a drop-in clinic only to find that our son had gained 1kg. Leaving this review to ensure that the appropriate training/calibration is undertaken to ensure other parents aren’t subject to the same unease we were.

The online form system is excellent. I have been very impressed with the service that was given to my mother. The person we saw took time to listen , gave empathetic care and gave great advice and this gave my mother reassurance. I understand that the NHS is very stretched but we still given great service. Thank you.

The doctors themselves are generally helpful. But the practice makes it difficult to access them. The online form forces you to takes ages to input lots of information the surgery already has - instead of having a simple login system like other surgeries. Every time you phone up you have to sit through the same interminable recorded messages even before you get into the long queue to speak to a receptionist. My experience and that of friends has been that when they are supposed to call you, they claim they’ve tried and it’s not been answered, even though no missed call is registered on your phone. Receptionists very variable in experience and efficiency. All in all, very frustrating

We suggest that filling in an online form is the quickest and safest way to get in touch with us. We apologise if you had to wait on the phone for a prolonged period of time. If you can send us a message via our website of when you were meant to have got a phone call, we can investigate into what happened. I sent a message via the website this morning asking for help as my cold has turned into a chest infection (asthmatic). I was sent a message asking further questions and then, typically, in the 2 mins I popped to the bathroom, they called back and then texted to say could I call to book an appointment. I've now been on hold (screenshots) for 2hrs 47mins and 45 of those are No. 1 in the queue! I started at No. 15. This is utterly ridiculous! How can anyone be 45 minutes as the first caller in the queue? The system is so desperately broken it's beyond a joke now. What are the receptionists doing?
