My mother had her blood test and flu vaccination with the nurse. She was very friendly, kind and patient with my mother who has got dementia.

The positive reviews here do not match with my or anyone i knows actual experience dealing with this surgery, no one in the area that I've spoken to has anything positive to say about this surgery. Almost impossible to get an appointment even though the waiting room is often totally empty, when they actually answer the phone you are told to go and book an appointment on their website only to find the option to do so is turned off. I personally have not been able to get an appointment in almost a year. I have personally noticed that positive review for this surgery seem to only be posted after a spate of negative ones, i am making no accusations i just find this pattern a bit suspicious. I also find that the Google reviews match my own and others experience dealing with this surgery much more accurately. Up until 4 years ago this was an excellent 5 star surgery but like i put in the title now it is not really fit for purpose.

Not one to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after the appointment I had. Went away feeling blown away by the level of care and compassion I received. I’ve never walked away from an appointment feeling so looked after and positive that the care will continue.

Had a health check. Warm welcome, put me at ease and ensured I was comfortable answering any questions she had. Happy to answer any questions I had and provide guidance where she could. Very positive experience.

I was called in for a health review. As an carer I have little time for myself so it was really lovely to see someone who really cared. The doctor gave me time and really helpful. She listened, cared and wanted to help and made a couple of appointments for me.

Consulted my pharmacist checked online and just cannot get an appointment with my gp surgery. You have to go to the surgery at 8:30am and wait to speak to someone and may get an appointment a week later and then you may not even get speak to a gp that is qualified. For people who work full time or elderly that have mobility issues this can be quite distressing.

Receptionist on initial visit was very helpful and told me that she would try to arrange an appointment and that she would call back the next morning. This is exactly what happened and my appointment was for 10.00am, only 1.5 hours later. My appointment went well with a recommendation from the doctor to visit the practice physio before returning to work.

Visited surgery today to see if my respiratory results had been sent to surgery told they were not here would have to contact hospital which I was ok about then asked to get a repeat proscription for medication that had been given before was asked why I needed these which I felt had nothing to do with the receptionist as to why I needed them was told blimey there’s enough there to knock you out which I felt I was being judged asked her if I would be getting a call back about this to be told well request has been put through so you’ll just have to wait and see felt that she was unprofessional and seemed that I was a inconvenience to her So now will just have to wait and see what happens now I suppose

Had my NHS health check , got the appointment for the the day after it was offered, The health professional I saw was very kind ,listened to my concerns & updated my file with the new information I provided, including scanning paperwork I brought with me , She gave me a date for a blood test at the surgery in a couple of days , She was sympathetic and empathetic, I didn't feel rushed . The reception staff member I delt with was very helpful.
