  1. Review titled Hypertension appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Syeda - Posted on 09 May 2024

I went to the GP for an appointment regarding my hypertension. The GP was very professional and had an empathetic approach towards understanding more about my condition. I felt very comfortable and confident during the appointment. The GP surgery itself is also quite neat, spacious and clean. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

  2. Review titled Excellent Experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Syed - Posted on 09 May 2024

I had an appointment with the GP regarding a cyst near my eyes. The GP was very patient and helped me understand the potential causes and treatment options for this issue. There were no issues in arranging the appointment itself either.

  3. Review titled NHS App

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Great Practice and always very helpful. I have found that there is confusion when I mention the NHS App and its capability - for instance in ordering prescriptions and adding prescription items to the app by staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased that you find the Practice always helpful. All our staff are here to help to the best of our ability. The NHS app is a fairly new entity which is forever developing so some of our new starters are not as familiar with its capabilities as others. We have spent a lot of time promoting the use of the NHS app with patients, but on reflection we have failed to educate our new staff about its valuable uses. Thank you for raising this issue with us. We will factor in some training and education for our new starters so that patients can be confident that our knowledge of its interoperability with our systems is improved.

  4. Review titled Great Practice with wonderful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The staff was very professional, approachable, helpful, and full of empathy. He explained and assured us of all the options we had, which put our minds at rest. He also directed us to the appropriate department for further investigation and treatment.

  5. Review titled Efficient process

Rated 5 stars out of 5

A very Smooth and efficient way to have a flu jab. Setting up the practice on a Saturday to exclusively administer the flu vaccine is a sensible and successful use of NHS resources. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable.

We have to vaccinated approx. 2000 patients so trying to do this alongside our normal workload is very challenging. The nurses and volunteers give up their free time on a weekend to support this campaign to avoid disrupting 'business as usual'. Its nice to be appreciated - so thank you!

Annual flu jab. Well organised from staff who booked the appointments, people who were directing where to go, and the nurses. All were welcoming and friendly, excellent experience.

  7. Review titled Vaccine

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sheila Richardson - Posted on 07 October 2023

I had a very a good experience when I visited Maybush Medical Centre today for my influenza vaccine. It was very easy to book my vaccine over the telephone. You can also book online. The clinic was good and even though I was very early to my appointment I was seen straight away by the advanced nurse practitioner and left within 10 minutes.

  10. Review titled Great Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 October 2023

I arrived for my flu jab and was escorted to a seat. I was then called over to a seat, where an NHS member of staff told me their name, checked my details, explained what I was being given then asked which arm I wanted it on. Once this was completed I was escorted outside. The whole process took around 5 minutes. The people around on the day were extreamly helpful and kind. I have no hesitation in recommending this service and the staff concerned.

We operate a one-way-walking system, however for patients who we can see might have some mobility issues, we fast track them to our seating area and the nurse comes to them rather than the other way round. We are glad that this small adaptation was of value to you. Thanks for sharing your very good experience with us! :-)
