    I tried to organise a home visit for my mother yesterday. I did a triage form and was subsequently phoned. I was offered an appt at surgery I explained to the lady that I needed a home visit as my mum was unstable and unable to be safely transferred to the wheelchair/car. The lady proceeded to tell my that we couldn’t have a home visit as my mum isn’t registered as housebound, I explained again and she repeated again and again that we weren’t allowed a home visit and took absolutely no notice of what I was saying. I asked to speak to another person, tried to explain but got the same robotic response. No flexibility and no interest in our circumstances and lied about asking the doctor if he would visit. Both women sounded like they were reading from a script, it was both upsetting and disgusting treatment. I have no problem in saying I was rude back to them, I’ve never known anything like it and generally find everyone is helpful. The upshot is I rang back and spoke to a receptionist, got a telephone appt and the doctor arranged to visit mum this morning. I’ll be delighted if someone at Manorview took the time to listen to my phone call. Customer service training is very much needed.

    My original practice - pathfinder in south oxhey has been taken over by manor view and all promises of it being for the benefit of the patients have been non existent- have to fill online form in the hope of an appointment - told appointment in 10 days time - mix up with repeat prescriptions and takes longer we are not patients anymore just a number I am very disappointed and feel the personal touch of a GP practice has gone and I am seriously considering changing to a more patient focused practice instead of one who is cashing in on the amount of patients on the books

    Had a blood test this morning. Whilst there I asked about a physio service within the practice. Instead of directing me to the online booking service or the reception desk, the practice nurse immediately made a booking on my behalf. She was very friendly, helpful and approachable.

    Excellent response same morning to my completed online triage form - offered an appointment same morning at a local satellite surgery with practice nurse - wonderful from signing in through to consultation with both nurse practitioner and GP review - clear plan of care and review appointment also made. Very impressed with all aspects of my care/treatment

    Needed an emergency consultation. Completed the triage online firm and got immediate confirmation that a doctor would call me back. Had my consultation, felt listened too and had all my questions answered. I felt reassured and confident that my needs were being met. Excellent service.

    I used the patient triage, message sent to me stating that it had been received and within the hour I received a message stating that I would receive a phone call that afternoon. Phone call received and doctor was ver pleasant and helpful.

    I found it difficult to find where I needed to fill this information in on-line for an appointment, but when I did it was easy to fill in and I got a response within 24 hours and then after sending more info a diagnosis and what to do next which negated me from having to visit the surgery, which was helpful.
