    The new total triage system is fantastic. Within 20 mins of submitting my form, had a call asking me to attend the surgery an hour later. Saw lovely nurse practitioner who sorted me out. Within one and a half hours I’d placed my request and had been seen and given a prescription for a chest infection. You can’t get better service than that.

    Went to chat to a female doctor about symptoms I had been having for 2 years. The doctor made it easy to chat through it all & I came out feeling informed and relieved. Don’t wait like I did, book online and get sorted out. Lovely people.

    Requested an appointment via the new online form on the website. Had a call within minutes of submitting the request and offered an appointment in 15 minutes. Was seen promptly and reassured about the condition. Very impressed.

Although the maximal time period for a response is 48 hours, we will try to be as quick as possible, and like with yourself, the majority of our responses we have provided so far have been able to be given on the same day and in some instances very quickly.     After having bad health for many years I have always had to spend frustrating hours of waiting and listening to the 'holding' tune on the phone! I can sing it off by heart now haha This new system has honestly changed my life! I fill in the form and the last 3 times I have recieved a message within 10 minutes, either giving me a time for that day, for a telephone appointment, or responding to a medical question I have. A lot of people on social media have been so negative, (probably before trying it!). I've always loved our practice, a complete brilliant team - receptionists, doctors, nurses, paramedics, admin, pharmacist. We don't tell them enough how valued they are and to be honest I'm sure they are the best for many miles around. God bless you all and keep up the good work! Oh and...didn't mention cleaners in the team!! Always spotless!

    I rarely have to visit the GP luckily, however with the recent changes to the appointment system, the surgery have sent out informative text messages and even sent out a brilliant Autumn newsletter via text message too. They have explained the new system extremely well with instructions and a snapshot of the new online request form. They seem very accommodating offering people who cannot access information electronically to attend the surgery for a paper copy. What a brilliant way to keep patients informed. Very impressed.

    I cannot fault the new system, it was worrying when I first learned about the changes coming but I really think this is the way all surgeries should go. No waiting in long phone queues, a simple online form and you know you're query/request is being dealt with. I have always had a response within 2 days. Brilliant service x

    Luckily I hardly need to visit the GP, however I do have to visit with my children. The receptionists are sincerely polite and courteous, the passing GP nurses always have a smile and say hello and the GPs are amazing and we are all so lucky to have you all. Just wanted to thank you for being my surgery and hanging in there in these unprecedented times. Tell the moaners to go private if they don't like it!

    I rang this morning on the dot of 8.00am. The recorded message advised me that the ‘surgery was receiving a high number of calls’ and it was not possible to add me to the queue. I have a very personal problem which may need seeing by a doctor. There has to be a solution to this provided in the near future -please.

We appreciate there can be difficulties in getting through to reception at times, especially at a peak time like the start of the day. We continually analyse how our service is being used and work with our Patient Participation Group to try to adapt our service to what best suits our population with the resources we have.
