Been attending Linden Hall Surgery with a cough for some weeks. All practice members I saw recognised that I had two different coughs. And was therefore difficult to identify. Doctor identified and gave clear advice on the nasal drip cough and that cleared up quickly. The second cough was more difficult. And another Doctor identified the medication that was causing the problem. I would like to thank all the staff for their patience and persistence in resolving the issues. And that the doctors listened and understood that I had two issues that needed resolving. All staff at Linden Hall are warm and welcoming. And the website for booking appointments making requests is easy to use and much better than the old phone system. And the flu vaccination day ran very efficiently from booking appointment to getting vaccinated

Ongoing health issue which did not require urgent attention. I used the online triage system and was given a face to face appointment within 10 days or so. When seen the consultation was thorough and sympathetic with tests planned going forward.

This was my first time using the online triage service, and I was both grateful and impressed by those who delt with my issue. I received an initial response, via text message, within 5 minutes of sending the online form. There was a slight glitch, in that the link for my response to questions asked had not been included, but a quick phone call to reception, and the lady who answered sorted me out and passed my responses on to the duty GP. In less than an hour, the GP had responded again, having sent and electronic prescription through to my pharmacy, and sent a referral through to the musculo/skeletal team for an appointment. Today, I have also received a date and time for that appointment. A big thank you to all concerned, you made the process appear seamless. The receptionist that I spoke to, yesterday, and the lady who called to nook me in for assessment, were friendly, approachable and demonstrated a level of calm reassurance and understanding. Thank you, ladies. To the on call GP... Thank you for your prompt response, and actions.

This was at Linden hall, Muxton. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was wonderful. A rare combination of efficiency empathy and total attention to her patient and their needs. Came away totally happy and informed.

I need to cancel an appointment but there is no facility on the website to do this 'out of hours'. The appointment is tomorrow. If I could cancel it now, when the surgery opens, it could be given to someone else. Could this be why do many appointments are not attended ? I will try to remember to cancel once the surgery opens, but I will be at work by then.

Dear Jean Clayton, Thank you for highlighting your concern to us and providing feedback. Many of our patients are registered with mobile phone numbers attached to their records and a text message reminder about almost all appointments is sent out a day prior to the appointment. Within the text message it includes the ability to remotely cancel the appointment, which could be done out of hours as you have described. Other methods include informing our reception team during open hours via telephone or submitting an online triage form. Our triage team work very hard to ensure that all appointments are taken up where possible including cancellations. We hope that we have able to address the concerns you highlighted and we will discuss the issue you raised in our next practice meeting. Credit where credit is due, after completing a triage form i was called just outside the hour and offered an appointment within a week with the doctor required. I was then called again as my need for appointment had come via the doctor following test results. Both ladies were extremely pleasant, professional and personable which made the calls easier and also proved that both processes work well. Thank you Linden Hall

Held in a queue for over 36 minutes at which point the call was disconnected. Have tried using the online service to obtain the required information, however, that part of the functionality is disabled and has been replaced with contact the surgery.

Since we have switched to total triage system, the volume of telephone calls we receive has significantly reduced and the waiting times for calls to be answered has improved overall. It is difficult to offer a full explanation in what happened without having more details from you about the event, like what functionality you were trying to access/ what your request was, and specifically what happened to your failed encounter on the day. We can assure you that submitting an online form whether it be a medical or admin request will result in our team looking at the request, triaging it, offering the most appropriate support or solution. I used the new system to request a GP call back and within an hour I had a message to say a Dr would see me that morning I checked in at the surgery and was seen within 10 minutes ,, have to say I was so impressed!
