What stood out is that I am on a waiting list for an initial GP appointment! One week has passed and no contact or appointment.

I came into the surgery, asked the receptionist if I could see a doctor, and explained I had a tight chest and chest pain, she said I should go back home and wait for call. I went into the pharmacy next door to check my blood pressure, the pharmacist advised me to call 111 or go to A&E. I phoned 111 and they send me to A&E. The surgery did phone back twice, first time I was driving, second time I was in A&E so I coudnt answer. Luckely There was nothing seriously wrong with me, but I just question if sending someone with chest pain away, was the right thing to do??

Although it wasn't an emergency situation the GP rang me back within a relatively short time and took time to discuss medication options with me before we came to a mutually acceptable conclusion.

Forced to use econsult to book an appointment. No continuity in when econsult is available i.e. 8am-10am or until its full! Appointment was sent to me with no ability to amend it. The appointment was inexplicably on a sunday(!), with no timing other than "some time in the morning". As I missed the appointment given the obscure and unconfirmed timing of it, I now have to go through the whole ridiculous process again!

I felt like i was a nuisance and rushed out of an appointment i had waited months for. Was told if x-ray showed nothing i would not hear anything and no advice about what to do re pain if no obvious cause. I have never had such a disinterested doctor. Normally they are so good but this was awful.

Lack of organisation with flu and covid jabs, leaving people in a waiting area who had apt times booked with only one treatment room in operation whilst moving other patients with later appointment times to another waiting area that had three operational treatment rooms meant they were being processed and out. Even when there were no queues in the second area, nobody was being called forward from our area to go there. I am not sure if it was volunteers running in this but it was very poorly organised.
