I wanted to clarify what tablets I was on and the reason for my new tablets as they seemed to conflict with my other tablets as some are getting rid of fluid and my new tablets are doing the opposite, the doctor seemed not interested or listening to what I was asking I felt as if he just wanted to get rid of me, I thought veterans were supposed to get more help. He asked if I had high blood pressure which I said I do he then said I was not on any tablets for it but I have Atrial Fibrillation and I always have my blood pressure checked out not this time, I feel I wasted my time I came away none the wiser. I also mentioned the pain and numbness in my right leg which I still think is a trapped nerve in my hip but he said I've had a MRI and it shows no trapped nerve but something is causing it. The surgery as stopped the wellmans clinic which was very good. I've been with the sheep market surgery since the early 80s when we had doctors who cared and you got to see your doctor most times as for now I only go if my partner forces me and as for doctors helping Veterans like me it doesn't happen at lakeside.

Requested telephone call - telephone rang when I answered no one there. Rang surgery to say had missed call they said dr would ring back - they didn’t - have had to make another appointment for Monday which means I will be 1 week without medication as pharmacy have lost my back order and won’t reissue without drs prescription

Had a worrying health episode which is still ongoing however I have been dealt with compasion and understanding and feel reassured that everything that can be done is being. All staff I came into contact with from reception,the nurse practitioner and the doctor were wonderful. Thank you all.

I tryed to use the surgery app for a medical Query as felt didn’t want to use a drs appointment as I know they are few & far between. After a week no reply I had to book an appointment & of cause there isn’t any. So after many days of keep going on line at least half a dozen times each day I managed to get what was obviously a cancellation. Cannot complain about the care of the dr who was very understanding, helpful & reassuring . It’s just a shame it’s so hard to get an appointment thankfully I wasn’t in need of seeing a Dr urgently but those who are have my sympathy.

I attended an appointment just hours after doing the NHS App procedure and receiving a phone call from the practice. The call was informative and clear and the follow up meeting demonstrated the same standard. Highly Professional, courteous and communicative staff. The doctor was excellent. I went straight for a blood test which required a long wait because staff sickness meant that only one team member was able to take the blood samples. Despite enormous pressure, the medical professional was calm, focussed and charming. I left highly impressed with the approach of the staff I encountered. The spirit of the folk working here carries so much weight in challenging circumstances. A positive experience, for which I am very grateful.

Had to wait a while to get an appointment by which time most of your symptoms you had to tell the doctor are going, but was seen eventually by a nice lady doctor.

I saw a pleasant and efficient doctor who was very professional. We discussed a number of options and alternative ways to treat my condition without resorting to antibiotic drugs.

I quickly got through on the phone despite being 42 in the queue. I was given an appointment that evening to see a GP. The GP was very helpful, listened to my concerns and was very reassuring, explaining what would happen re tests I am having.

I have had a medical condition that required a second course of antibiotics with a follow up GP Appointment. I was just surprised that doctor did not really know why I was there. I got the impression he felt I was wasting his time.
