A well planned Clinic, resulting in a smooth flow of patients, both in and out of the Surgery. My injection was undertaken in a friendly, professional manner

Review titled Quick, efficient and thorough
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Jim Helsby - Posted on 29 October 2022
Attended at my appointed time for my flu jab, and was seen within seconds (really!) of my arrival. I mentioned to the doctor that I had heard that I might be eligible for a shingles jab. He checked, I was, and he arranged it there and then. Both jabs done and dusted within five minutes. Thank you.

Review titled Flu clinic

Disappointing clinic. I understand they need to see lots of people and have to keep the queue moving. I am also grateful for the free flu jab. My disappointment comes from the feeling of being rushed. My name and DoB were given to me, for me to answer ‘yes’. I should have been asked to give this information myself. I wasn’t asked which arm I’d prefer for the jab, the area was not cleaned with an alcohol wipe, there was no aftercare (plaster etc.), I asked about side effects to which I was given a snappy reply and told to exit through the back. I’m also a little nervous when it comes to injections but the nurse didn’t seem to care about any of that, so I can’t imagine what someone with a true fear would do in my position. I appreciate what the NHS are doing but a little more care/attention would be welcome. Thank you.
