I was seen by my gp the same day as I made my appointment I was seen in person by my gp who examined me and dealt with my issue I was advised by my gp to have blood test done I received a call from my surgery once received my results overall was efficiently dealt with

I had an ecg with the nurse manager after a follow up from the gp , She made me feel very at ease and comfortable throughout the whole procedure , afterwards she explained everything in detail , she is very knowledgeable and good at her job and spoke to the gp about my medication , She then asked me to book a follow up with the gp . A few weeks later I saw the gp who again couldn’t of been more helpful made me feel like he had time for me and referred me for further tests . I’m not usually one to visit the gp but this whole experience has made me feel like I’m not a burden Thank you Issa medical centre , reception team and drs and nurses

I was very satisfied with my experience but I wish it would go back to normal now that you can make appointments on the phone and not have the telephone calls first . I feel that you should see the same GP as continuing with the same one gives people reassurance.

Dear Mrs Molloy, Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. As a practice, we are offering a high percentage of face-to-face appointments. However, in the interests of patient safety, we do sometimes ask that they are triaged over the phone first to ensure we are not bringing clinically vulnerable patients in at the same time as potential covid positive patients. If you wish to be seen face to face, you can request this from your triaging clinician, and they will provide you with an appointment time to be seen at the practice. Additionally, if there is a particular clinician you wish to see, you can request this at the time of making the appointment, however, this will of course be subject to clinician availability. We are pleased to hear that overall, you are very satisfied with your experience at Issa Medical Group, and we will of course provide feedback to the team at our practice meeting. Visited twice in the past fortnight and had exceptional service both times from the Receptionist and the lady doctor who I saw. Very thorough and very pleasant. An asset to your Practice. Thank you Issa Centre.

I made an appointment in person for my son, who had to come home for university specifically. On arriving at the surgery, he was told that there was no appointment for him. On further investigation, there was an appointment, but had been made with the wrong practitioner, who had actually called in sick so was not available anyway. The staff weren't very helpful telling him there was nothing they could do and to come back later - which was no good as he had a train booked to go home! What a compete waste of our time and money.

Made an appointment for a phone call and as so as I picked it up they hung up spend 30min trying to get through to be told they will ring back again not very professional. The reception don't want to know and try getting you off the phone so they can get through the calls

Tried to book an appointment by person or phone. Rang at 0800 but was 12th in line .To get an appointment is virtually impossible in person. Surely if you require one you should be put on a lit, not asked to keep ringing . Not a patch on the old surgery

We have recently installed a new state of the art phone system to aid us in monitoring the call volumes and ensuring sufficient staffing is on hand to answer your calls. We appreciate that whilst you were number 12 in the queue, we would have had 4 phone lines on, and based on our average call handling time, your call would have been answered within 5 minutes. As a practice we do take on board the feedback provided by our patients and regularly monitor the call traffic into the practice. The receptionist that answer the phone seem fairly untrained, they don't seem to know what you're talking about and I have never got a call back when they say I will. I never get called with test results from hospital tests and when I call for the results I don't get a clear picture of what the results mean as the receptionists are not medically trained.
