I am utterly disgusted with how a staff member spoke to my children whilst waiting for their appointment in the waiting area! She told them to use their quiet voices, my children have spend 6 hours in school then to come for an appointment straight from school to be told to shut up. We waited more than 30 mins over the original appointment time. If my children were too much for you please get the doctors to see patients on time! Lastly she did know what I’m going through, so just be kind.

Dear Patient We are sorry to hear that you felt your interaction with Issa Medical Centre, was less than satisfactory on this occasion. I would be grateful if you could contact reception and speak with the Reception Manager to provide further detail on the incident, but in the interim, staff are advised to ensure that patients are kept as quiet as possible as their are often very poorly patients within the surgery, or excessive noise may interfere with consultations already taking place. However, we are sorry to hear that there had been a delay in your appointment, and for this we apologise. Unfortunately, delays are sometimes inevitable as the clinicians may be required to deal with a medical emergency that takes up more than the allotted appointment time. Reception have however, discussed this at a recent staff meeting and agreed to advise patients on attendance if there is any delay. Kind Regards Issa Medical Centre.

I recently took my son for his vaccines at 8 weeks and 12 weeks and had an amazing experience! The staff at the clinic, from the front desk to the nurses, were incredibly kind and professional. They made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. I'm so happy with the level of care we received. Highly recommend! Genuinely happy to see me and my son! I am very confused with the reviews I’ve been reading because honestly I can’t fault my experience at all. I think everyone works very hard and they deserve to know they are doing a brilliant job. Thank you

When I visited, the experience from the time I checked in with the secretary and the discussion with the doctor was a wonderful experience. The doctor spoke to me professionally and listened attentively. He ensured I got the best possible follow up. Very happy with the service.

I have applied for a reapplication of medication which we get as a 6 months batch. We have a doctor visit in the last week and they are aware of the medication we get. However when we applied for new batch the controlled drug was denied unless we had a review. The patient is a stroke sufferer and needs the medication for pain relief and I'm a carer who works. I have been waiting 2 days for a doctor how as a carer and and I work able to get through? The doctor should be able to allow this medication when the recent visit by the doctor was aware of what medication they are on. There should be a priority for vulnerable customers.

I rang for my daughter who has been I’ll for the past 10 days and is only getting worse, I was on the line for about 40minutes until they answered and when I told the receptionist the situation she started shouting at me and saying I was at the surgery a day earlier and I can’t be calling again, honestly it was so appalling and frustrating. She didn’t bother listening to what I had to say fully I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone if you care about your well-being my child is only 20months old I can’t believe they are so ignorant

Booked an appointment with a specific doctor and had to wait a week for it!! It was tel app at 08.00am. The time came and went. Its now 08.54 and I had no call!! I rang the docs and the reception woman said oooh that docs off today its now with another doctor!! There was no call to inform me or apology!! I waited over a week to see that doctor!!! I am still waiting to have my appointment!! This surgery is shocking!! Avoid at all cost!!

As a practice we welcome all feedback, and we would like to apologise that the appointment had not been with the clinician you had requested, the appointment was moved to another clinician due to unforeseen circumstances that arose on the day. However, we did not want to not offer you an appointment when you had pre-booked the appointment and obviously waited. My children and I have been with Issa Medical Centre for 14 years. The receptionists are nice, nurses are amazing and lovely and doctors are very professional and very nice. I extremely recommend this practice for every one.

The reception staff are extremely rude, as well as having a cant be assed attitude. It takes over a week to get an appointment and even then its over the phone and they say theres nothing they can do. Im always told i will get a call back but am waiting 2-3 weeks for a call back. It's ridiculous.
