    Although it took a while for an agent to get back to me, once they were onboard the service was quick and efficient. No fault of their own but messages do get lost when using the WhatsApp as the NHS reminder messages were always sent after I would send a message even though an agent was now engaging with me… hope that makes sense. Apart from that and the wait (understandable, no one’s fault but the government) it was a great service! Thank you very much - Edirin Idogun

    Thank you for the review. Really good to hear you found the new service useful. You were likely one of the very first patients to use the service as it was only launched at the very end of last year. There have been many improvements to the service since then, including a target of responding to all patients within 2 hours. We hope to be able to meet this target on the vast majority of days.     I’ve been trying to reschedule my son’s vaccination appointment all week due to an illness he had and every time I call I’m on hold between 30 mins - 1 hour, by this time I’ve given up. Today after 1 hour in the queue I got cut off by Reception and I had to rejoin a 15 person queue again. It’s a shame as I’m sure someone else could have used that appointment.

    Dear patient, apologies for your poor experience accessing our service over the phone. Since you posted this review, we have made a couple of significant changes. Firstly we have a brand new telephone system that shouldn't ever cut people off! This went live late last year. Secondly we have added the ChatDoc WhatsApp service. Simply send a WhatsApp message to our usual phone number to access it. Many patients are finding this a really convenient way to get the help they need. Its nice and easy to cancel or rearrange an appointment as well. Thanks again for writing and we hope your next experience is smooth and stress free. Best Regards The ICO Team

    Can't even get through on the phone put the phone down on you before you can even talk to anyone when you do get to talk to someone never have an appointment left they are under staffed if you actually manage to get an appointment there self check in doesn't work hasn't for years so have to wait 10-15 minutes for the receptionist to book you in then your never seen on time can wait anything from 20 40 minutes past your appointment time to be seen because only a few doctors there it seems and one of them can't even sign prescriptions so has to wait for a doctor who can then you wait days for it to be sent out to the chemist if its sent at all after calling and calling to have the phone put down on you place is a joke it use to be a great doctors

    I have been trying for a week to talk to reception as soon as I reach number 1 in queue it cuts me off. I would not mind but the doctor wants to speak to me not the other way around. So mat not bother if this keeps happening. Feel sorry for the people that need to see the doctor. So disappointed with their service.

    I thoroughly recommend the use of this Doctorassist app. It is very smooth to use quick to get response and avoids frustration of writing in telephone queue for hours on end before giving up. This provides a wonderful service in my view
