Unable to book a future appointment despite being at reception, told to go home and do it online. The whole process of getting an appointment is absolutely appalling.

Dear Patient, Many thanks for your review. I am unsure of what happened on this occasion and I can assure you we can absolutely take appointment requests at the reception desk. In fact we do provide this for patients on a daily basis. You can also call us on the phone and we can do an appointment request for you too. Good communications before and throughout visit, very friendly upfront reception & very professional medical staff. Rarely have to wait beyond stated appointment times. All in all a pleasant experience.

After trying for several times to see a gp I found my appointment was pointless and doctor seemed disinterested. I had to explain everything so my record of ongoing ill health had clearly not been viewed. I was very upset after this appointment as very concerned about my health. I lost a very close friend to cancer recently after she was misdiagnosed and received treatment too late. This is constantly on my mind

Had a appointment with the nurse for a routine blood test and blood test at 12am finally got to see her at 12-45,there was no other patients waiting so why the wait??

Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear that you had to wait in the practice. I am sure there was a reason for the wait. The practice does close between 1-2pm so most likely you were the last patient of the morning. Alisha Practice Manager

When making my appointment very helpful. Sorted what I needed and polite and friendly. Sometimes it’s very hard to get an appointment with a Doctor but do try and get you seen by a practice nurse.

It is not always necessary that you need to be seen by a GP. We have highly trained Nurses in the practice who are able to see lots of patients, so more than likely this is what happened on your instance. Many thanks Alisha Practice Manager

I find that using the online consultation service is extremely efficient with call back within hours. Friendly staff who I have personally found to be knowledgeable and helpful.

I moaned about the waiting time on the phone, you responded “use the call back and they will call you back when at number 1” I never get this option otherwise I would!!!
