You are not supposed to phone the surgery, you get told to fill online forms out. Go on the website to find out it is closed and will be open at 7:00 am tomorrow, as I work I don’t have time after 7 in the morning then when I finish work it is closed. I can’t remember what a doctor looks like, I have seen a nurse once since 2020. Trying to sort out problems for myself or my adult daughter is just a joke. Also when asked for phone consults outside of my working hours falls on deaf ears.

Dear Patient I am very sorry to hear that you have had issues with our online consultation. We also offer to take appointment requests from 8.00am - 18.30pm on our phone lines and also are able to take requests at our reception desk. I had a telephone consultation at 12 which was booked in response to an econsult the previous week. I then had a face to face follow up appointment the same afternoon. Very nice doctor and very thorough appointment.

I’ve had mixed experiences with surgery. They are very good at assessing the online form and getting you in to see either a GP or the nurse. However after a recent visit this particular GP did not I feel take my concerns seriously and did not even examine me! I’ve been waiting months for them to get back after consulting the hospital for advice on an issue and again months to get access to my medical records. I have though had good experiences with a different GP and good follow up care. So but hit and miss on who you see.

Been with this practice for nearly 60 years. Lived out of area for 35 and now they want me to leave. I only ask to see doctor once every couple of years and been offered appointments approx 10 days later for last 10 years...I decline as expect to be better by then. Emergency appointments very rare and hard to get. Was asked to come in " today at 10:10" last Thursday. Got there only to be told appointment was for Friday?. Received text at10:11 to confirm it was Friday but I was already at surgery. I beleive whole surgery and appointment system been very poor for a very long time.

Last 2 appointments in Dec have been in and out before the time I was given as I got there early seen and sorted no issues to get appointment and felt like I was given the time to get seen and heard very pleased as some friends have said they still can't get seen at there doctors so was very pleased

Blood pressure concerns though not yet resolved has been throughly assessed for a medication that works. My doctor could not try any harder than she has; outstanding. She has provided a first class service at all levels.

After trying to get my partner to see a doctor for 5 years I was able to coerce him one evening. Because of your online request service I didn't have to wait until the next morning, by which time he would have changed his mind. He received a call back within a few days, and was offered a same day appt. As he wanted me there we took an appointment the following week. The reception staff were pleasant, and the doctors examination thorough and unrushed. She explained everything in plain English, including how treatment would continue. The prescription given has begun to work immediately and we have every confidence in this surgery. At a time when online and telephone consultations are being criticised I believe my partner would not have sought help or received treatment without them. Thank you

Initial form to request an appointment which was completed by hand was presumably lost as there was no response. Telephoned the practice the following day and a receptionist completed another form over the phone. Within a few minutes I had an appointment with one of the GP’s. The receptionist was extremely helpful and polite.
